Traveo Iceland

My husband and I used Traveo- Omar to go to Iceland last year 2022, it was so thoughtfully booked and we had an amazing experience that we wanted to go back this year and see more of this place beauty. First of all, Iceland is a magical place with a lots of world’s wonders. From blue lagoon, hot springs, glaciers, volcanos, northern lights, waterfalls, natural ice caves, volcanic black beaches and so on. Omar put up the itinerary for us to capture the most beautiful places on the south with amazing hotels on the way to sleep in with restaurants with (oh my God) the best food in the world. We have never tried better food, even in Italy. Everywhere we went, even the sandwiches on the gas station were so delicious. Not sure how they do it. But everything tasted so well in Iceland.
We would highly recommend using Traveo- ask for Omar to book your trip. He would think of everything from rental car, places to eat, rest and enjoy.

We had a wonderful 20-day honeymoon once around Iceland. We explored the whole island including the East and West Fjords, full of glaciers, waterfalls, geysers, landscapes, museums and much more. The planning with Jonathan from Traveo was excellent and with his experience and expertise he created a great and unique trip for us (including some insider tips). In addition, he considered every personal request and created a travel guide (itinerary) for us.
Traveo provides you with a complete app with all vouchers, booking references, excellent suggestions for activities/museums/sightseeing/dining. An integrated map function shows directly the activities and routes suggested for the day.
Also during our trip Traveo took care of the smooth process and was always available. We would book with them again anytime.

This was our first time traveling to Iceland, and I'm so glad we found Traveo! Jonathan took such good care of us during the whole process. I celebrated my 30th birthday and the entire trip was perfect! We had nothing to worry about, from our arrival at the airport to our departure-everything was accounted for and the direction on the itinerary were easy to follow. On Android I couldn't view the exact details but that wasn't an issue since we had an iPhone that was able to pull up all the details. We'd definitely make the effort to plan another trip to Iceland in the near future!

We had the most incredible experience in Iceland last week and I think that having the BEST travel agent made it worth it all. Jonathan Guisset from Taveo was amazing. So attentive and went out of his way to help us when our flight was cancelled, and we ended up having to shuffle some things around. Jonathan coordinated a perfect vacation for us. We went snowmobiling, glacier walking, saw the Golden Circle, did the Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon, and had a nice food tour. We stayed at a wonderful hotel with a perfect location to the central bus stop. His attention to detail and listening to our needs was what we wanted! I HIGHLY recommend using Traveo for any upcoming trip to Iceland. I can definitely vouch for them!

We ended up changing honeymoon destinations last minute and didn’t have much time to research for Iceland! We worked with holly and told her activities that we would like to do and what we envisioned and she came up with the perfect itinerary and took care of all the bookings for us. Traveo is a very professional organisation that planned a great trip to Iceland for me and my teenage boys. With a great balance between lots of experiences and the budget I had. My teenage boys loved the being active in this country! Iceland is such an amazing place but very expensive. So it really paid off to have Traveo help me make the most of my budget.

We did a 4 day self driving tour organized by Traveo. Jonathan set a detailed daily itinerary, handled the car and accommodations, and saved us countless hours researching and planning. We just got to enjoy the trip and followed the itinerary to the letter. It was amazing and the trip went perfectly. Jonathan checked in with us multiple times, and although we didn't have any issues at all, it was comforting to know he was available to help if needed. Highly recommend! The experience of organizing a road trip around Iceland was made hassle free by Jonathan at Traveo. He arranged tours and accommodation and gave fantastic suggestions for things to do and see. When our whale watching trip was cancelled due to bad weather he arranged the refund within the hour. Without being intrusive he was always available if we needed help.

This tour was a dream trip, and Jonathan van Traveo made it just that little bit more beautiful. The glaciers, the geysers, the waterfalls, the volcanoes; Iceland is beautiful. Traveling to Iceland Stress-Free

We just went on a 12 days trip to Iceland made easier thanks to Traveo! We aren't experienced travelers and weren't sure what to see and what to do, there's many amazing things in Iceland and we didn't know what should make the list. Traveo took the stress out of figuring things out where all we had to do was drive to the next destination and decide where to eat that day. Jonathan worked with us to find accommodations and activities that met our budget and what we wanted to see/do. He patiently answered all questions we had leading up to the trip and checked in with us when we arrived and when we got back home. We didn't need to call but he made sure we had everything we needed and gave us his contact info if needed even though he was away himself on vacation.

One cool thing is the app Traveo uses for your itinerary, it made things easier with how it lists all activities and destinations on every day of your trip with a section for the accommodations and a Navigate button to bring you to Google maps for each item.

Before choosing Traveo I looked into quite a few companies for our Iceland trip. By far, Jonathan was the best. He helped us with his excellent restaurant recommendations and helped us make all the reservations which saved us so much time. From pickup on day 1 till our last day of departure everything was excellent. All the hotel reservations were very good. Our guide, Aron who drove us around the island was knowledgeable and kept us quite entertained with his great sense of humor. Jonathan was very professional, courteous and very helpful. He was so thoughtful to even surprise us with a bottle of champagne on our Anniversary.

Jonathan helped us plan a multi-generational trip for 10 people and we all had a great time! The planning of the itinerary was thoughtful and so easy. We had to plan over four time zones and Jonathan was gracious and accessible, meeting at a time that was past his own business hours. He handled logistics such as car rentals, hotel stays, suggested sights and excursion ticketing. We even contacted him mid-trip for some changes, which he handled quickly and seamlessly. The itinerary app is fantastic and includes helpful links for navigation and suggestions on where to eat. A wonderful experience!

8 Day custom self driving trip of Southern Iceland was amazing. Omar put us together an amazing trip for us that encompassed more than enough excitement and flexibility to change things around. Everything went smooth with no worries, even though we booked much later than we should have.

We communicated with a few travel agents before choosing to work with Omar Ingason, and we are very pleased with the decision we made. Omar planned for us a fabulous, fun, memorable trip. We wanted a self-guided trip, filled with fun and interesting and active days. He did that and more. He gave us background info for each place we went to, navigation directions for each stop, and chose destinations and excursions that gave us a great overview of Iceland, as much as you can do in a week-long trip. He set up the days for us in an efficient way that allowed us to maximize our time and productivity.

While in Iceland we had questions and wanted to change a couple of activities due to our own situation, and Omar was very responsive. We wanted a local travel agent who was in same time zone and knew the area inside and out. We highly recommend Omar for your trips to Iceland.
