Hertz Return Station - Keflavik International Airport

Brought the Toyota Landcruiser back after an 8-day rental. Pick-up was great. Friendly staff. And so was the return.

The car was in good condition, with a few scratches. But all marked already by Hertz. The car ran perfectly all of the days. No troubles, no issues. Nice car. 4x4 and strong engine.

Came here in the early evening and there weren't many customers. After about 5 minutes the car was returned. A quick check-up by the staff. Nothing to report, no extra fees and costs. All good.
We even got offered a free ride to the Hotel if we wanted, but we didn't wanna trouble the staff with that and took a taxi. But really friendly staff here we've met.

Again a good experience with Hertz. Surely will rent with them again.

Rented a Kia Sportage for a week with Icelandair Holidays. Car was superb, clean, spacious and an efficient hybrid model.

One word of warning for car hire in Iceland, even if you decline all other insurance, TAKE OUT THE WINDSCREEN POLICY. I didn’t and got charged £600, but was honest with it upon return and it would have been much more. This picture was one week’s rental returns; at 5am the chap had already processed 3 cracked windscreens. There are lots of volcanic rocks on the ring road, especially in the North and NorthEast.

Lesson learned for next time but can’t fault Hertz as everything was in the contract and probably the best car I have had as a rental.

Easy return location which is explained when you pick up the car, clearly marked, they even give you a map. The GPS listed this separately from the pickup location as well. They look over the car if they are open when dropping off, but if you have full coverage they are really just checking to make sure the tank is full.

I have seen mixed reviews but personally I online booked just on the day I departed from home country and it is successful.

When I reached, paperwork was pretty fast and no nonsense. Grabbed the car and go.

Car was in pretty decent driving condition tbh but the landscape and some terrains when rain can make the car very dirty. Even when we picked up, it's bit dirty also.

Return process was fast and efficient. I extended 2 days and payment was fast.

I will probably use back your services when I am back next time. And refer friends for hertz.

Extremely fast and efficient and good customer service. Staff would walk up to you even before you park the car! In the same trip I booked cars twice. My first experience with Avis/Budget/Payless was horrible with very rude staff and being pre-charged for fuel (which they said I will get back in a few months upon full return) and triple-charged with a small defect. The second one with Hertz was amazing. I got an almost new car and it was all hassle free. No pre-charging for fuel. Would book with them happily again 😊

Car return by key box at 5 AM worked perfectly. At the same time, people were queuing at Europcar next door to get their car checked and returned. Upon opening at 5:30 received a return form via email, no additional charges were charged to my credit card.

Easy to return our car in the middle of the night

Place was full of cars and wasn’t sure where to park so I just parked close to the Hertz return building, clean out your car and make sure you have everything. Walk into the building and the staff will take care of everything. Helpful and the return went quickly, then we just walked to the terminal which is very close.

Efficient and had my reservation properly and accurately. Will rent from their convenience in the Keflavik Airport terminal. The downside was the return..therexwas no shuttle to terminal which is only available minute walk but wind was fierce and if raining would have been a mess.

Simple just pull up when they open just hand them the vehicles keys and head to the departure area of the airport.

Get a Tesla and you’ll save a ton of money on gas

Arriving from Reykjavík it is hard to miss the green Eurocar sign at the drop-off at the airport. Turn right just before arriving at departure. Park the car within the yellow fields. Go in the europcar office. Take the staff to you car. They check fuel, not much else. And you are set. Walk approx 4 minutes to the airport. No big deal.

No hassle, very good staff and fast service.

Easy fast drop-off, short walk to terminal

Quick and easy, right next to airport. Will even give you a ride if you don't want to haul your luggage by foot.

If the pickup Van does not show up no worries. It is a 3 minute walk to the terminal.

Drop off was simple, and the agent checked the car, then took me and my party to the terminal in a bus. Simple, nice service!

My man Gulli if you see this thank you man you completely saved us. You gotta come to Chicago, ill jam with you. Great experience with you guys everything was perfect :))))))))))))))
