Breidavik Campground

Such a wonderful campsite! You can pay inside until 12am.
The best facilities we encountered in Iceland. The kitchen is gorgeous, huge, and warm. The showers aren’t any extra $ and there’s a separate bath house for men and women with extra toilets in the kitchen house.
The hotel restaurant food was delicious and the coffee was INCREDIBLE. You get to sit with the beautiful view of the beach. The woman running the reception and the younger staff working the kitchen were all so kind and we would have stayed longer if we could!

Very nice campsite- great view, big and well equipped kitchen & clean toilets. We paid 2400isk/person . shower and laundry included. (We used the shower on the hotel side. The one in camp area was broken)

My favorite location to camp in the Westfjords! Close to Latrajbarg cliff (the best Iceland location to watch the puffins). Friendly staff, clean showers, restaurant, bar and 10 minutes walk to the beach. The quietest place on earth! LOOOOVE it! I will be there in June 2022 for the third year in a row!

Amazing place to stay, the staff and owners are AMAZING and so very welcoming, we camped out in our camper-van and because the hot water in the camping showers had just broke they let us take showers in the hotel for free. If I could rate this place 10 stars, I’d still give it 11!

Lots of puffins here in the early June, and the closest place to camp at the edge of the world (the western most tip of Europe) but it really does feel like the edge of the world

We loved this campground and took advantage of the really nice kitchen to make dinner and watch the sunset. No complaints at all!

If I could give 6 stars I would! Location location location! After an amazing time hiking and bird watching at latrabjarg I pulled into here and had the most warm welcome from the owner and a delicious dinner of lamb and chocolate cake! It was amazing. Then I pulled my camper van into their campground which is right up against the beach. Strolled down to the water for sunset and had an amazing evening! A must visit when in the area! Toilet/shower for the campground was clean and worked perfect. The kitchen and dining area inside was very nice as well.

A wonderful place, on the edge of the world with many amenities for those who travel there either to birdwatch or to reach the southernmost tip of the European continent. The campsite is welcoming, organised, clean, warm with brand new or well maintained facilities.

Lovely campground with spacious, clean kitchen. So well appointed there is even china and electric mixers!

Very nice location, big practical kitchen and very friendly staff!

They will also let you know if any northern light appear at night.

Nice camping with warm toilets and showers. We were allowed to use the hostel kitchen, which was nice and spacious with many facilities.

Jeden z lepszych campingów na Islandii na jakim byłam. Mały, kameralny, z klimatem, widokami i kościółkiem. Cudowna, ciepła kuchnia, w pełni wyposażona, z widokiem zapierającym dech. Jest toaleta i prysznic przy polu campingowym, ale w razie potrzeby można też skorzystać z prysznica w hotelu. Hotel nie jest nowy, ale ma swój urok. W razie potrzeby jest na miejscu restauracja z barem. Mało ludzi, piękne plaże i klify tuż obok, ciepła atmosfera.

Camping charmant : peit endroit avec quelques cabanes, une vue mer magnifique (la plage est superbe), terrain avec quelques tables et bancs extérieurs, une cabane chauffée avec cuisine (casseroles, couverts, plaques de cuissons, bouilloire, grille pain présents), des toilettes, une autre cabane avec douche et WC. La patronne est accueillante, il faut se signaler car l'acueil est dans l'hôtel/restaurant. Elle sonne une cloche en cas d'aurores boréales pour alerter ses hôtes (hôtel ou campeurs). 2400kr par personne

Uno de los mejores campings de Islandia. En una zona espectacular y con una sala común con cocina y todo tipo de menaje, muy acogedora. Los baños algo pequeños pero en nuestro caso suficientes para la gente que había acampada.
