Tried Tomato soup from this cute cafe right by the harbour, it was delicious. Most recommended. Hosts were very friendly and cafe had a very cute atmosphere.

Hosts were super friendly and welcoming. We arrived in 8 people for a warm coffee on Easter Sunday. They gave gave to us chocolate eggs ❤ we had a delicious tomato soup and and iceland bear. Thank you so much for having us!

Very warm and in a nice harbour. The two women running the cafe were very helpful. Beds were nice and comfy

The place is decorated well to provide everyone with a cozy atmosphere. All facilities are in good and clean condition. I would definitely stay again.

We stayed there for free for one night after giving a concert in town, but that doesn't take away from the friendly service, good vibes inside the house and good facilities they had!

Very cute hostel in a small town. It’s part of a coffee shop and right on the water. The shared kitchen and bathrooms were clean and showers had endless warm water. Check in was easy and contactless.

We made a roundtrip on Iceland and we have searched actually such place🤗🤩 nice small fisherman village, cute guesthouse with clean rooms and a wonderful atmosphere-we love it♥

The best place we stayed in Iceland. Such a great building, perfect room and lovely host.... and a breakfast to die for. The spacious kitchen was excellent as was the expansive communal area (includes piano and good guitar!).
Great location too, right by the port.

It is such a very cute guesthouse. We had everything we need. Clean shared bathroom, well equipped kitchen and also nice dinning area for us to have breakfast. We were the only guests at the guesthouse and also the first of the season! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The seafood restaurant next door was truly a gem!

We had a fantastic stay at Sjávarborg. I was there with my wife and 2 kids and we all slept very well. I highly recommend Sjávarborg.

Beautiful old building, super well organized and friendly owners. Great breakfast - a feast in the cafe before it officially opened to the public. Invited us to a concert they were having there.

Fantastic cafe attached to this hotel. Highly recommend stopping for the bagel with cream cheese and trout. Even the side salad was delicious. Come when they open to get a good seat by the window and grab a book.

A very cozy cafe in the center of Stykkisholmur. Simple menu for soups and sandwiches but very well done with special flavor touches like pumpkin seeds and miso. Friendly staff make this a great stop, especially on one of Iceland's many rainy days.

What a wonderful place to stay, very homey and the location by the harbour is awesome. Looking forward to my next stay.

Great little hostel/guesthouse, we had room 7 (double) which had a -Fantastic- view of the harbor. We felt it was a good price at 26,000 isk for 2 nights so $90ish per night. The rooms were clean and the bed comfy. We had a shared bathroom/shower/kitchen. All were clean and there were plenty of bathrooms/shower stalls. Great kitchen that was very well equipped with spices/oils/pots/pans etc. Free coffee & tea. Laundry available for a small fee. We stayed 2 nights and used it as a base camp for exploring. The city of stykkisholmur was also cute to explore. Highly recommend coming to this area, and staying at this hostel!

Great place to stay. Very clean. On the lower level there is a full kitchen that you can use. The location is great, right next to the harbor. Despite having a restaurant on the first floor, it is quiet in the rooms.
Really nice to just sit back and relax in the open area on the first floor or outside.

A lovely hostel with a great atmosphere. Cooking facilities were good - plenty of seating in the basement. Rooms were plain but had everything you needed. The cafe has lots of treats great coffee and retro furniture.
