The most beautiful campground I've been to. It has hot water but because people wash their clothes there it goes fast. If you arrive late in the evening, the chances of having hot water is near zero. There is wifi as well.

Okay. Yes, you're staying in a tent. But I'm not kidding when I say that this campground has the hottest showers in all of Tanzania. You could burn yourself — if you wanted.

Our tent was cozy and comfortable and OMG the zebras and buffalo were RIGHT NEXT TO US all night long. It was simultaneously incredibly magical and slightly terrifying.

There's a small shop with fresh coffee and cold beers when you need them. Great spot to talk a walk around and just relax after a day in the car.

Excellent campsite. Early mornings and late evenings, there are lots of animals. There is a kitchen and bathrooms at hand with hot water. Great views to the crater when the fog clears.

Awesome place! Unique! The surprise was huge when a huge elephant appeared on the way out. Maybe to send us! See you soon Ngorongoro!🐃🦬🦒🦣🦏🦛🦩

It was actually the best campsite from all the campsites we visited during safari. Hot water is available and also never run out of toilet paper. Dining hall a bit closed so it was noisy when everyone is having their meals. The best part: animals are around, although some people have no brain and try to get close to the wilderness. View was marvelous and it could get cold at night. You'll think someone snoring so loud, while it was actually zebra talking behind your tent!

Very unfortubate that some tourist couldn't keep up the cleanliness in the toilet/bathroom.

Very spacious for tents and for indoor activities such as breakfast with your group. Male and female bathrooms have seated toilets as well as hot showers. There's a cooking facility as well. There are charging stations and wifi available. Also a store that sells many things especially ice cold beer!
While having breakfast an elephant came by our table. Only complaint is the tent space is inclined and some areas can get muddy.

It‘s the only camp site next to Ngorongoro Crater.
Therefore it was quite full.
However the water in the shower was hot. The dining room was clean. The view down the crater is amazing and there are zebras and giraffes running across the area.
I can recommend the place.

Affordable camping spot within NCA. Regular facilities, closed cooking spots, toilets and showers relatively clean. Camping possible with 4x4, if you’re lucky to come early and take the best spot, there’s a nice view over Ngorongoro crater. We saw elephants walking around the tent and heard lion roaring nearby early in the morning.

Amazing view and hot showers, what more can you ask for in the middle of a national park. A huge male elephant passed by our tent in the middle of the night. Amazing experience. Dress warm, this place is coldat night due to elevation.

Great campsite close to Ngorongoro crater, toilets and showers are plenty with hot water. Lovely tree on the hill makes for a perfect romantic look. Staff on site has drinks and snacks and are very helpful and smiley people.

A field with a tree in the middle and some building on the side. Nothing more. But you are directly inside the park and in two nights there elephants passed by and drank water from the tank, zebras walk around tents and you can hear hyenas wandering around the camp at night. Very cold in the dry season, be prepared.

I was sleeping in a tent and there were zebras around. Absolutely brilliant!
My friends and I stayed up late and going back to the tents we could see the zebras 4-5 meters away from us walking between the tents.

Clean and organized, hot showers and comfortable eating areas. Animals came right up to the tent area in the night, which was a bit freaky but also very cool.

Great camping site on the crater rim. Also fair warning it's going to get very chilly at night, the cool air is very refreshing but make sure to pack warm!

This was my favourite campsite in our safari, we had an elephant roaming around us and the change in air and moisture was very nice.

Lovely camp site with a breathtaking view on the crater.
It has warm shower and Wifi (very slow though).
Beware there might be buffalos or zebras eating the grass around your tent during the night!!

Very good campsite with clean facilities (better those on the right side).
The view over the crater is amazing.
There is hot water in the restrooms and electricity, definitely a luxury compared to many others around.
Being on the crater's ring tends to be very cold at night. Bring warm clothes!

Awesome campsite. Beautiful views, lots of space, hot water in the showers, and a great big tree to provide shade. There were zebra wandering around the camp site and a couple of eagles liked to hang on the big tree in the middle of the camp.

Lovely campsite, and if you are lucky you can meet a big elephant in the evening, passing by to search for water. When I lived in the tent camp, the elephant walked straight through the entire tent camp without touching a single tent.

It's a very nice place to camp where one has a chance to observe and see various wild animal species in the morning and late evening passing by the camp. I loved camping at this area since all the necessary facilities are found there
