Everything was delicious: spaghetti & meatballs, chicken picatta, shrimp appetizer... Offered local beers. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice place to enjoy a lunch or dinner with friends & family.

The number of times I’ve enjoyed pasta made by someone other than me are virtually nonexistent. The kitchen staff at Effina’s deserve all the praise they receive. The food is properly seasoned and carefully prepared.

I highly recommend the “Voodoo Pasta,” better than anything I’ve had in NYC/Italy and anywhere else. If you are looking for something for a little less carb content the ribeye is perfectly seasoned.

The prices are appropriate, staff friendly, and atmosphere reflects much of the southern renaissance felt throughout the downtown Anniston area.

The pastas were amazing. The Voodoo pasta had a ton of flavor. The fettuccine Alfredo was some of the best I have eaten. I highly recommend this place.

So so so good! They start you off with delicious bread and a garlic/oil mixture to dip the bread in. The bread tastes homemade. Every dish we ordered was (and always is) delicious. We will definitely be back. We ordered: voodoo pasta, lasagna and spaghetti. Server was super nice and attentive. Also, small detail, but the sweet tea was perfect! We loved everything.

So, I was in town for a job site in Huntsville. I’m a Safety Director for a commercial roofing company. Decided to roll down to Anniston, so my drive wouldn’t be too long to get back to GA..PSA!!!! This place is simply AMAZING! Rose was the best, along with the other staff! The food was sooo good! I had the Voodoo Pasta, and the BBQ Shrimp! Words cannot express how good these dishes were! The atmosphere was amazing, the conversations and new friends I met, The Helds (I hope I spelled their names right) were the icing on the cake! Someone mysteriously took care of my birthday meal as well! As a retired firefighter/medic (12yrs) I’m usually the one providing a service. Last night, I was the recipient of service and I am truly grateful and will definitely go back to Effina’s every single opportunity I get!

Service was outstanding! Blue Moon was perhaps the thickest I've ever had, something off with that keg. Voodoo pasta was certainly not bad, not great.

This is a fabulous place. Service was a bit slow but with a party of 8 it was normal I think. Regardless the food was amazing. Waitress was diligent and attentive but still left us alone. Wish I lived around here to try more of their meals. Rack of lamb tonight was superb. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves great Italian cooking. 5*

Celebrated our anniversary dinner with delicious Italian food. Our tomato basil soup appetizer was amazing, and the bread was good as well. Both of our meals were delicious and nice portion size. Our waitress was attentive, as were several other employees. Would highly recommend this place for dinner if you are in the historic Anniston area. We love quaint small restaurants with good food.

Went to Effina's with a wedding party for the rehearsal dinner and thought because we had so many people on top of other customers that it would take forever or the quality of the food would decrease. Please let me tell you the staff was fantastic and the food was amazing. Did not have to wait for a long time. I was impressed with the level of service and the quality of the food.

The atmosphere is nice, neat how they reclaim kitchen tables and chairs. The food was really good the fried artichoke hearts with ranch, the voodoo pasta, and the cheese tortellini Alfredo with chicken. Definitely will be back when I’m the mood for Italian pasta dishes. I would definitely come here over Olive Garden.

New favorite restaurant in Anniston. This place cooks some really delicious food. Came first time Thursday on way to Ga and stopped again Saturday night on way back home because food was sooo good!!!

Visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch. Great service from Michelle and great food. The bruschetta had the tastiest fresh basil and balsamic. The club sandwich and chicken parmigiana were also great!

This was the absolute best lasagna I have ever had! The sauce was so fresh and delicious. The Moscato was a great choice. My husband loved the Pasta Mediterranean with shrimp. We are here on vacation or we would eat here every week.

Excellent food. Waitress Sarah was excellent too. Absolutely. Prices decent. Clean place.

There's Italian, then there's Effina's!! Amazing food and awesome service! We were here after the lunch hour, and it was packed! Did not effect Olivia in the least! She was a perfect waitress!
My wife had the Lasagna and I had the Voodoo Pasta. Both were the best we've ever had! I literally could order a bowl of the voodoo sauce and eat it with a straw!! Or to quote Guy Fieri, from DDD, I'd eat it on a flip flop!! It's that good!
Can't wait to come back!

Had lunch here on Sunday with family. First time customers couldn’t be happier. Food was excellent and service while busy was great.
We have found a new Italian restaurant near home. Be back soon!

I don't ever write reviews but this place is worth mentioning. I have eaten at this establishment dozens of times. I have left satisfied every single time. I grew up around the anniston/oxford area and have tried almost every restaurant in and out of town.

In terms of price vs quality of food, it astonishes me why anyone would even remotely go to olive garden when they can get spectacular and obviously better italian food for less than what olive garden charges now post covid.

Unbelievably, it tastes like every dish I have eaten here is made just for me. Effina's has ruined a lot of other restaurants for me at this point because this place has set the bar.
I have travelled to Hawaii, Alaska and in between and eaten at many many MANY places with outstanding offerings. But there is a beauty in simplicity. And to do simple pasta sauces so well just makes me happy.

In summary, Effina's is the best food in town bar none.

Great new found restaurant for us. The food was fabulous! I had chicken marsala and it was the best I've ever had. Our waiter, Joseph, and the manager worked diligently to get us served and to the concert on time. We can't wait to go back!

Very pleasant staff, prices were what you would expect and the food was delicious. If I am in the area again, I would definitely stop again.

Effinas is always a great place to stop for lunch or dinner! The staff is always super nice and prompt. The food is amazing. Personally I usually get the Voodoo Pasta, but their calzones are the best around! Their lasagna and mushroom ravioli are also great choices! There's no outside dining, but they do have a great upstairs you can sit at which gives you a nice view of the restaurant!
