I went here recently and a older gentleman with a beard I think Juan or Jon? But he was so helpful I honestly couldn’t believe it. He helped everyone in the office while I was there. I was mailing very fragile items and he helped decide the cheapest way to mail it and packed it while i wrote the slip. It was really top notch service. I was so pleased I made it a point and went back to mail something else. I definitely have been telling ppl to go here!

The customer service I have received from Glen is impeccable! I have to make sure this does not go unnoticed. Great customer service is so rare these days, but Glen is a breath of fresh air. I have not met him personally. All of my issues have been corrected right over the phone. He's so polite, kind, and goes above and beyond to make sure he assists me in every way possible. He even followed up with me in the past to make sure I was getting my mail and that everything was going smoothly. I have called a few times and he never seemed bothered or irritated. He always made me feel as if there was no problem because he would assure me that he was on it and it would be corrected. Glen, THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to USPS Representative Glen; to my mail carrier, (sorry I don't have his name) and to everyone at the Altamonte Springs, Montgomery Rd. location for their outstanding service each and everytime I have needed assistance. Not only are they highly professional and knowledgeable, they are extremely personable and sincere in helping any way they can. At a time when customer service seems to be a struggle for some businesses, this team sets the bar high and exceeds that as well. Thank you to all the hard working women and men at the USPS Altamonte Springs Montgomery Rd location and across the nation as well!

The customer service here is phenomenal and they always are ready to help with any questions I have. Secondly regardless of the day they always have a smile on their face whilst providing top notch service which isn't something that always happens these days. I will always continue to use this as my mailing store.

My experience has been great here in the 6 months of using this location. The lines can be long, yes, but it's a populous area. You wanted to live here, you deal with lines and traffic and not just here, of course. The workers themselves are A++! They are professional, friendly, speedy and knowledgeable. They are smart and kind and they smile. I have used them multiple times for sending and receiving packages, for money orders, etc. I mean they are not just good, they are great. Even when there's a huge line, they are gracious and smile and offer suggestions if needed. Talk about grace under fire!! But there isn't always a line. I go at different times of day and of course, at certain times of day the line will be long, it just will. Sometimes I wonder where the people come from who make the comments on here, if they have never had to deal with this elsewhere. As for packages, I ALWAYS get my packages - they come to my PO box here. If you're having trouble receiving packages at home, I suggest you consider getting a po box here. A small box is very reasonable and will allow you to receive any size packages by means of a locker on site to which they will provide a key upon its arrival. You can pick it up when it's convenient, the lockers and boxes are open 24/7. All I can say is to someone wondering how the service is here, don't hesitate to use this location. After reading reviews on here, I was very hesitant to open a box, so try to ignore the naysayers. Now I'm not going to guarantee that every time things will be perfect. We all know there are temporary workers around the holidays, or just human error, which might cause a mistake or two. However, for months I have gotten my stuff, 2 or 3 packages a week sometimes more, I get it on time without any tampering. And everybody I send things to gets what I send. Keep up the good work, Montgomery Street! Don't let the turkeys get you down, fly above the clouds. We thank our US Postal Workers for the job they do, for the compassion with patience and diligence they show, and it's not like they are making 6 figures. These times require that we appreciate the positive, become solution focused, not problem focused. Try not to let your frustrations with these difficult times out on those who are on the front lines and most accessible. #wisdom

This is my favorite post office! I've been coming here frequently for years and all the staff (Josue and Charles especially) are so so nice that I actually really look forward to going to the post office. The machines outside also work really well and don't usually have lines if someone is looking to quickly be in and out. Of course near closing it's busier, but that's to be expected.

Carla was so helpful and amazing and Charles is very nice!

I had to go to the post office today (which gives me anxiety in general). I had a bunch of weird questions about wax seals on cards and needed to buy stamps both national and global. Josh was my teller and I’m so glad he was. He was very kind and informative, and made me feel like my questions were completely normal. Thank you so much for making my errand day a little less stressful!

I didn’t get the guys name today (01/27/22) but my receipt says “Clerk: 20,” Clerk 20 was phenomenally refreshing! He was hilarious and really made my day with his positive personality. Thank you, Clerk 20! “You Matter” too!

Always a great experience. Everyone is always very kind and efficient. They also help recommend packaging that can save you money. I mail a lot of items throughout out the month as a consultant and knowing the best packaging and way to send mail has saved me money.

First time here, a gentleman named Charles helped me find what I needed to ship several items for the cheapest rate per my request. He was very helpful, and made me feel like there was no stupid question (because I asked a lot). I will be coming back. Overall good experience.
Also, everyone else at the counter seemed polite as well as I was in line I could hear their tone with other costumers.

These guys are awesome. I dropped a VERY important business letter heading out to the UK in one of their mail slots. Almost home, I realized I'd left a critical account number slip out of the envelope. I was certain that I was screwed, but I returned to the office and explained the problem anyway. In less than 1 minute, they located and returned my letter, allowing me to add my slip. I was absolutely amazed. I was certain this small mistake would cost me a lot of money, but the helpfulness of the staff here sets the standard for what a post office should be.

As the lead clerk at this post office, I take offense to all the customers who complain about our closing time and our inability to process their mail, everybody's mail is just as important as theirs and its not fair to delay their mail when they get here at the appropriate time and not wait till closing time to conduct business. as far as our job duties it is also nonstop for the clerks at closing time to sort and gather the mail and get into a truck by 630pm. if the mail is delayed, we get disciplined so how about all you procrastinaters who use our post office, please get hear 1/2 hr prior to closing to conduct your business and stop whining about the time we close our doors. BTW that's why we have 2 kiosks for all late customers. Also have your mail prepared, don't wait till closing to ask for forms, boxes or supervisors when those items are always located in our lobby which is there for customers to prepare and then you can come in and mail.

Everytime I've been here I've dealt with some great staff and haven't ever had to wait as long as I would back at the Clermont post office. After reading some things on here I'd expect worse but maybe I've just been lucky and dealt with all the nice staff. Oh, and Manuel is awesome!

The post office on Montgomery in Altamonte Springs is the best! The staff is amazing-friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. There's usually even a lady that walks around the line just to answer any questions that someone may have. I go to this post office several times a week and I'm always impressed by the excellent service and organization.

I have been customer since 2004 and some of same great workers are still here. I have never had a unresolved problem. I have lived Sanford, Deltona, Lake mary and I love the customer service here than any other place in Seminole county. I choose to keep my P.O. Box here than any other place too.

Staff went out of their way to track down a ring I ordered. The ring was making its own tour of America. Problem was box being scanned by non human staffed facilities. One wrong # on the zip code caused it to run amok. But staff at Altamonte worked diligently to track and get it to me.

the best post office staff. very patient and extremely nice ! they do everything to help me save time from the moment i walked in the door. very helpful. they helped me pack my big almost over sized box. thank you Naymin, Xavier and Charles so much for making shipping so esay for me !

I'm in there daily mailing packages out. A couple of the guys are fantastic. A couple aren't. But the service I've received there has been great, and the packages get to their destination quickly. I like this particular USPS.

Spoke with rep Bob today who was helping track a envelope. He assisted me with all my question and helped me find how I can get it re-delivered to my house. Thank you for your time and patience!
