We went here for early lunch dim sum and waited about 20 min. We ordered crab soup dumplings, pork soup dumpling, pork chop, green beans, kale, cucumbers, spicy won tons, and noodles. Everything was delicious, hit the spot. It was busy, noisy inside restaurant but food came out fast and server was attentive. Clean, modern restaurant with good food.

Everything ordered was really good. Spicy chicken wonton was probably our favorite. When you arrive you are given a menu and check off what you would like to order. The food comes out in order and there is not a long wait between each course. Definitely make a reservation before going because the wait time is always long.

Wow first time here and everything was SO delicious, hot, and just perfection! My favourite was the pork xiao long bao 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 but it’s hard to decide. Loved the dumpings as well.
Excellent service too, thanks Diana for a wonderful evening! I’ll definitely be back!

Only my third time at Din Tai Fung and it was amazing! We met some friends and enjoyed a great meal. Drew, our waiter, was so attentive and friendly. Tried the pork/shrimp dumplings, the spicy wontons, hot/sour soup, and a few other items. Everything was so good!! We will definitely go back.

Food and service were excellent. Only downside is the higher prices. Otherwise, everything was top notch!!!

If you want to eat exceptional Xiao Long Bao, you should for sure come to this chain.

Food: The dishes, like Xiao Long Bao, garlic green beans, and chicken soup, are truly amazing, creating a desire to make this place a daily dining choice.

Service: The service is efficient and quick, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Atmosphere: While the atmosphere is modern and clean, it takes a backseat to the star attraction—the incredible food.

The xiaolongbao is good, but everyone knows that already. But the service was even better - everybody we talked to from signing into the waitlist to busboys and servers were exceedingly polite. The good food and great service makes this place a must visit for me when visiting LA.

It lives up to it's name and reputation of the soup dumplings. They are delicious, the skin was so thin and soft yet the soup was not leaking. Pairing the dumplings with the shredded ginger and vinegar, it is as good as soup dumpling can get.

The hot and sour soup was different and special. In fact, it is the thickest hot and sour soup that I have eaten. It is not very sour but you can increase its sour taste by adding additional vinegar to your bowl to make it fit to your taste. The shredded soft tofu stripes in the soup amazed me that it can be that thin but not broken into tiny pieces. Overall, it tasted different but I like it A LOT.
The sauteed string beans with minced garlic were delicious as well with a soft at the skin but a little crunchy in the middle of my bites. They were just cooked just right, not too soft or too crunchy.
Will make another trip to taste more different dishes next time.

Only a 30 minute wait on a Sunday at 3pm was exciting & reasonable. The dining room service is very efficient. Photo menu available online or an english printed menu once you are seated. If you know what you like you can have your little order paper filled out before you even sit down. The food comes out quick but the quality is excellent. Best Xiao Long Bao anywhere. We ordered the BBQ pork baby back ribs as an appetizer, traditional pork soup dumplings, pork Shanghai rice cakes chicken wontons in spicy sauce and fish dumplings. It was more than enough for 2 people and EVERYTHING was delicious. One day I would like to have eventually tried every dish. This is my forever favorite restaurant and such a treat when we are in town.

I recently visited Din Tai Fung with my friends and it was an amazing experience. The restaurant offers exceptional service from the friendly and knowledgeable staff, making everyone feel welcome. We highly recommend making reservations since the restaurant is so good that it has a bit of a wait time.

Their "xiao long bao" or soup dumplings are a must-try dish that's cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. The rest of the menu offers a wide variety of dishes catering to different tastes and preferences. What sets Din Tai Fung apart is their exceptional service, exemplified by our server, Hsiao Mei C. She had an excellent understanding of the menu and made great recommendations that made our dining experience exceptional.

Overall, we highly recommend Din Tai Fung for anyone seeking exceptional food and service. The staff's dedication to providing an unforgettable dining experience is truly remarkable, and we can't wait to return soon.

Always worth the wait. While Xiao Long Bao are great (especially pork ones), my favorites are Wontons. Spicy sauce is not very hot, but more fragrant and delicious. Honestly, there isn’t a dish that is bad. Quality is high and consistent throughout the menu, as well as multiple locations.

Excellent food and service. You're going because of the soup dumplings. Why would you go there and order anything different? Service is quick, pro-active, friendly and just great!

I was not a dim sum fan until now. This is not just a restaurant but an experience. The food was delicious, the service was shared between servers and consistently outstanding. Can we get a restaurant in the DC Metro area?

This is my first time visiting Din Tai Fung, as I’ve heard its name many times back then from some Taiwanese friends. Canada, unfortunately, doesn’t have any branches (caution, Ding Tai Fung is a copycat and it named itself Shanghainese food). We spent around half an hour waiting that is so lucky, and were impressed by its overall presentations. Its Xiao Long Bao is definitely one of a kind, though we ordered the “wrong” one (the one with crab), and its drink, two different noodles and sticky rice wrap were all unforgettable and mind blowing. We will highly recommend, even though it’s not cheap; but remember that we only live once haha.

Just like in Taiwan, you gotta wait a long time if you don’t come early. Luckily you can shop and look around in the mall to kill time.

We tried the regular and crab soup dumplings. I can’t compare it to Taiwan because it taste a tad different, but it’s still very very good. We also had the shrimp fried rice, taiwanese cabbage, spicy wonton and minced pork noodles.

Overall, I had a great experience and the waiter was super nice. Thanks to Tony for make this meal great!

On my very first day of work at my current job, I was taken to this Din Tai Fung location for some foods that were, at the time, unfamiliar to me. While I didn’t have the acuity to appreciate it then, last night’s outing with 7 other friends was a flavor-filled quest I’ll never forget. Obviously known for their Xiao Long Boa, the sensation of a steamy, meaty, and broth-y explosion on my taste buds was better this second time as I knew what to look out for. Go with a big group and try out as many fillings as the overly-cheery waiters can bring - Taro buns for dessert are equally recommended. The vegetable options are decent as well. Also be prepared for a wait regardless of the time of day of your visit.
