Favourite mountain for a after-work hike. The way up takes about 40 minutes (depening from where you start) and you get a nice view over Salzburg city and the seas around us.

Steep ascend, with occadional Steps. Rewarded with a nice view on the ciy of Salzburg. Very close to the city.

Schöner Berggipfel, der leicht zu erreichen ist.
Der kürzeste Weg ist mit dem Bus (Linie 150) vom Hauptbahnhof bis Haltestelle Koppl Gniglbauer. Ein asphaltierter Weg (leider ohne Beschilderung) führt über die Wiese zum Waldrand, ab da gibt es Hinweisschilder. Nun durch den Bergwald zunehmend steiler das Steiglein nach oben, bis man in einem Sattel an einem Monument ankommt. Dort unschwer nach rechts bis zum Gipfel ( nur wer unbedingt noch die paar Höhenmeter zum Gipfelkreuz will, muss Hand anlegen).
Vom Sattel kann man, wenn man will, rüber zur Gaisspitze gehen (das war heute meine Tour), dort einkehren und mit dem Linienbus wieder nach Salzburg fahren.
Bin heute, an einem kühlen, jedoch trockenen Werktag, gerade mal zwei Wanderern begegnet...
