If you are in this area, don’t miss dining here. It is the most wonderful and cozy restaurant. The service was decent. They offer many vegetarian options. We tried the cheese cream soup and garlic cream soup. In the main course we tried the deep fried cauliflower and potato, and vegetable patty and stewed vegetable with rice. We ended with an Apple strudel. The portion size were huge. The prices are very fair.

We arrived in the middle of the February (welcoming) spring festival. It's kind of like an Austrian Halloween.

Every patron in the restaurant had a quicky costume and so did the staff, it was really cool to see, sad we couldn't participate.

We had a really tasty lunch and great view of the lake, beer was on point and so was the Apfelsaft Gespritz (soda water apple juice).

Kid friendly, baby and toddler chairs available.

Highly recommended. Friendly staff & very savory fresh prepared dishes. Everything was tasty. Good value for your money.

One of the best restaurants in the region

Beautiful location. Friendly staff, owners very nice and keen to give diners great food and professional service. Lovely decor inside and the terrace by the Grundl lake gives you super views of the largest lake in Styria whilst dining in the fresh mountain air on dry, warm days.

Good comfort food at fair pricing, oma style. Service is friendly and into the details, he got himself a good tip. Parking can be problematic in the high season. No views to the lake, you just have to cross the street to touch the water though.

The outdoors tables had a very nice view of the lake and a comfortable breeze. The goulash was decent and the Wiener schnitzel was very good, the fried crust was really crunchy. Apparently the dishes are very good in this region, I would give it a try, they have some options there.

We are Americans who are currently stationed in Germany, but travelling in Austria. This was our first night, just arriving here, and this restaurant had tables available and was VERY welcoming and friendly, and the food...AMAZING. BEST we've had in EUROPE. We ordered 5 different meals and 2 desserts and allllll of them left us floored and so SO satisfied!!!!
