This was such a special stay - the staff were so kind and helpful, the breakfasts were amazing and the rooms so tastefully decorated with unbelievable views over the lake. The spa was also so nice after a long day out in the mountains. Will definitely be back!

I had an amazing time during my stay, even though it was only for one night. The receptionist was friendly and made me feel really welcome. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic and I enjoyed every bite. Also, the view from the hotel was beautiful - it was definitely a highlight of my trip! Danke Schön

Such a kind, warming, peaceful and clean environment. The food was greatly tasteful and beautiful. The sauna was peaceful especially with the view, swing, tea and flavored water. The site we saw from our room was breathtaking and we highly recommend staying here!

Details everywhere. Lovely rooms and beautiful views. The foods here are also amazing, it’s two of the greatest night in my trip in Austria. Though the cost isn’t cheap , but it’s definitely worth it.
I’d like to give 10 stars if it’s available.

Pictures can’t do justice of this hotel. The views of the lake from the many windows were breathtaking. We were fortunate enough to have a view of light snowfall on the treetops while enjoying the delicious complimentary breakfast. The extraordinary food and creativity made the stay much more memorable. The room was spotless and cozy, staff were nothing but kind, generous and helpful and the sauna was everything and more. We took a 20 minute drive and spent the day in Hallstatt which was convenient. We highly recommend staying at The SeeHotel Grundlsee.

We came for only two nights, far too short to celebrate our honeymoon. This is the nicest hotel we have stayed in, the rooms are exceptional, beautifully decorated in tasteful furnishings. The setting is perfect, the lake is so beautiful and the room we stayed in has panoramic views over the lake. The breakfast was so delicious and beautifully served, wonderful meats, cheeses and fruits but to finish off with individual portions of cress. We both just wished we had longer to stay at the hotel, we would highly recommend and hope that we can come back again one day. Thank you so much.

Only 16 rooms in this beautiful boutique hotel right on the lake. Attention to detail in the property and from all the staff.
The double doors opened up so wide, it was like an indoor balcony to enjoy the amazing Salzkammergut mountains!
Heated flooring, lovely beds, big bathroom, everything needed for a romantic stay!
The area around isn’t touristy yet has all you could want for exploring nature, very nice restaurants options and shopping nearby.
If you notice, the hotel offers subtle hints that it is a part of the Red Bull business group!

This hotel is a dream. It looks brand new and super clean. It is a one big spoil! The rooms are great with a majestic view on the lake. Awesome breakfast! It has saunas and stairs into the lake to swim. and if you want to take it to the end, try the breakfast on boat, it is amazing!

Amazing place, sublime restaurant... With a great choice of wine. Breakfast is amazing with a selection of cheese, meat, fruits, and you can order eggs or anything you like. The wellness area is amazing with infrared, sauna 60 deg. And finish sauna.. You can jump in the lake afterwards even in winter!! Highly recommended!!

Can't praise this restaurant enough! We just had an amazing lunch right next to the water and we couldn't believe how good the food was. Even though it was a bit pricey, it was definitely worth it. The best beef tatar and wienerschnitzel we ever tasted. It was so nicely seasoned and smooth. Can't even describe it properly, you have to try it yourself.

One of the best hotel,
Room- 9.0 , big and comfortable that equipped fully, marvelous views from the room.the score is not 10 because there isn't air conditioning system in the room.
Location- 10, one of the most beautiful place in Europe, the hotel located at the big lake with wonderful views all over.
Breakfast- 9.0, fresh and lot of varieties, personal service.
Service- 10.0, great stuff.
Value for money- 9.0, I paid 270 euro per night, too high.

Beautiful place with good facilities. Good breakfast. The only comment is about the restaurant - we had dinner and not all the dishes were on the same level. There are only a few other options for dinner around. But the hotel itself is great.

Unique atmosphere by the lake, mountains and also room style. Its small and you have enough care and privacy. Very friendly staff. Tasty cusine.

Wow ... we have already had fine dining but this one was magic. The beautiful location, high quality ingredients, great wine, super athmosphere & service. Dont except do get this for € 20.

Quite Good Restaurant worth a visit. Bought by Didi Mateschitz a while ago. So you can expect a certain quality. His Drink I wouldnt buy, but he has some Passion for Good food. Also for nice places. Ever heard of Laucala?
