Trattoria La Stella

Had a wonderful dinner here. We were there early on a Saturday, 16:30, and there were only a few other diners, so the atmosphere was calm. We were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was...easily some of best we had in Salzburg, as vegetarian options are hard to come by elsewhere. Lovely staff. Prices on par with the rest of the city's restaurants. Absolutely recommend.

We had a lovely meal here, the food was great and our waiter, Moritz (hope thats how it’s spelt) was brilliant. He was very friendly and recommended a fab pizza.
We had a starter to share, a main each, dessert each and two alcoholic drinks each. We spent just under €70 and thought this was very reasonable for what we had.
The restaurant is in a great little location too.

I was skeptical because of other reviews but the restaurant is really good. The caprese was fresh, the lasagna was hot and tasted great. Hot is very important for a lasagna. The salmon tagliatelle was great. The tiramisu is made in house and was delicious. I am coming back tomorrow for dinner.

The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We had a table of 7. Most of them children.
They are very nice to the children. Spoke directly to them and included them in the ordering.
Highly recommend. Just make sure your kids behave so they don't get mad at me for sending them lots of children as a result of my review. 😂

This is one of those authentic Italian restaurants that are so beatifully managed. The food is amazing, the service is absolutely wonderful and the restaurant itself is clean. If you want an authentic, hearty dish and you happen to be in Salzburg, do come to Trattoria La Stella. It is really a great place. S.P.

Hubby & I had a fantastic dinner with top notch service!
Our waiter's recommendations were spot on and thoroughly enjoyed!! We knew when we saw his last name (it was Greek) that we would enjoy him, and he proved to be a lovely gentleman with superb service above and beyond typical service!!!

Total surprise - excellent. Best bruschetta ever. Awesome light and delicious pizza. Heads chicken with vegetables - perfect.

Genuine Italian cuisine with partly traditional recipes from the Toscana and Sicily. The “La Stella” team cooks with local fresh ingredients, and service is awesome!

Awesome Italian restaurant with great Pizzas and other dishes. It is dog friendly. Staff is very polite and you dont wait ages to being served. I cannot recommend it more. We went there 2 days in a row while being in Salzburg and if we come back we will definitely be back there. Trully earned 5 star score!!!

Loved this restaurant! We were looking for something out of the rain and the owner sat us right inside. Absolutely great service, very quick and attentive to our beer 🤣 the food was delicious and the tiramisu was the best I've ever had!

I didn’t expect the restaurant would be so huge and have a big outdoor space. We chose to sit inside which has more space and not too crowded.

We ordered pizza and pastas. Mine was the most delicious one I think. Spinach cream raviolli. I would recommend this.

Overall experience was good. The restaurant was busy and packed, we understand if the waiters could not attend to us immediately. Overall i am satisfied

Great genuine Italian cuisine, absolutely delicious. We had bolognese and seafood pasta. Pasta was freshly made. The sauces were not overpowering, yet fresh and tasty! We liked it so much we came back for lunch the next day. For lunch we ordered two pizzas to share, Margherita and salame. The Margherita pizza is really really good. One of the best we had in a long time.
Servers were friendly and helpful. But attentiveness is typical for Germany and Austria.
If you crave for some Italian fairs after too much würstchens and schnitzels, this could be a good choice. It’s part of a bräuhaus, which sits right next door. So you can also grab a pint or two afterwards.

It's a proper family restaurant. Vast menu with great food and drinks options. Usually they do need reservations when you are visiting during the peak hours. But they usually always accommodate you. The service is great and the food is also very fresh and delicious.

Very good food, low prices and the food arrives very quickly.

My husband and I dined here on 15 Feb while visiting Salzburg.
The food is cooked with perfection and the service is on par with Michelin star restaurant.
Price is reasonable as well.
Highly recommend.

The best Italian Restaurant experience I've had!

I've been to Salzburg several times, today we tried this restaurant for the first time and boy are we impressed!

A group of six of us were quickly greeted and seated by our waiter, Alex. His English was great and our overall experience was top notch. The portion sizes were generous, and the quality of the food was splendid.

I will be returning here on my next trip to Salzburg, for sure.

We found Trattoria La Stella on vacation last year and knew we had to go back again this year. Our experience this time was even better. Our server Nikola was wonderful. We love the Salami pizza and pasta carbonara. Simple and delicious
