Johannesbad Hotel St. Georg

Rooms were very spacious, clean, and well maintained. Food and service excellent. Although there is a small walk to the slopes it's one of the closest hotels to the main Cable car. Only small gripe is the barman was so busy doing restaurant service it was hard to get a drink at times.

Lovely hotel with traditional Austrian bedrooms. An excellent position in the town especially if skiing. (5 minutes to the cable car and bus station. Food was excellent as were all of the staff who couldn't have made our stay more welcoming.

The staff members at reception Martina and Esther were exceptionally helpful to help us out as wrongly booked our dates. They offered us the Sissy Suite, which is a massive retro styled largest suite they have.

They also helped with no fuss with the local bus service and offered us the local discount cards that further reduced ticket prices.

The property is amazing and has good dinner options for just €15/person. They offered us complementary wifi, bikes and breakfast too.

The girls that serve breakfast and dinner serve with a big smile! 🙂

Rooms are big and cosy. Service is great. Location is great - everything you need is on maximum 400meters. They serve very good food at the restaurant.

I traveled with my teammates from Adidas Runners to participate in the Infinite Trails World Championships in Bad Hofgastein. We stayed at the Hotel St. Georg. Such a cute place with very comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast buffet, and spa. We were walking distance to the race start and finish and enjoyed being in this amazing valley surrounded by the Alps.

One of the best hotels on Austria ...I recommendation for families...reception was soo helpful and breakfast was delicious ( Mr Kamal from Turkey serviced us with great altitude) ...big and clean rooms .... great area for relaxing.

Just visited reception, lobby and bar downstairs. Very good service at the bar. with Greek Server. He took care about water for our dog. 5* for his work

Wir haben hier zu zweit ein wunderschönes Wellnesswochenende verbracht.
Das Abendessen war super, Vorspeisenbuffet, perfektes Hauptgericht, leckere Nachspeise. Alles frisch, sehr gut und mehr als genung. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns echt begeistert. Lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich, das hat uns gefallen. Gemütliche Gaststube. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal und gemütlich. Der Wellnessbereich ist auch super, großer Thermalpool, schöner Saunabereich, alles sauber. Bademäntel, Badetasche und Handtücher sind auf dem Zimmer. Perfekt auch um es mit in die schöne Alpentherme zu nehmen, die zu Fuß nur 5 Minuten entfernt ist. Wir haben vom Hotel einen Gutschein für einen Thermentag gratis zur Buchung erhalten, die Therme ist einen Besuch wert!
Es ist kein modernes "Schicki-Micki-Hotel" aber sehr gemütlich und eine heimelige Athmosphäre. Unser Doppelzimmer war sehr groß aber altmodisch und die Matratzen waren nicht sehr bequem. Positiv war, dass das WC vom Bad getrennt ist. Aber es war total in Ordnung und sauber. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Entsprach unseren eher bodenständigen 4 Sterne Hotel Erwartungen von dem her Preis/Leistung alles in allem 5/5, der fünfte Stern gilt jedoch einzig und allein dem Personal, welches den Aufenthalt erst so angenehm und wohlwollend gestaltet hat.
Besonderes Lob gilt vor allem einem älteren sehr empathischen und überaus kompetenten Herrn, welcher uns stets beim Frühstück/Abendessen bewirtet hat.

Holel je skvělý, v horském stylu. Nic novodobého nečekejte. Ale to jaký hotel je, je přesně to co od dovolené v horách chcete.
Skvělá obsluha, paní Gabriela byla perfektní a to i ostatní zaměstnanci. Jídlo skvělé, bazén ideální.
Můžeme jen doporučit 👍

Ein weinig in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, was aber auch genau den Charem des Hotels ausmacht.

Es hat uns hier sehr gut gefallen.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht die Wünsche zu erfüllen.
Das Haus hat einen sehr schönen Rustikalen Stil.
Die Saunalandschaft ist für einen kurzen Aufenthalt ok, wer sich mehr erwartet hat direkt in der nähe die Alpentherme mit großer Saunawelt.
