Excellent hotel a modest walk from the gondolas. Good breakfast and great dinner with a delicious salad bar for dinner. A bar for quiet drinks during the day or after skiing. Helpful and professional staff. Good value.

Das Alpenhaus was amazing. Beautiful hotel, very clean. Such a relaxed atmosphere, nothing is too much to ask. Staff attentive and friendly, willing to help with anything! Room was huge and wonderful view of the mountains! Then the spa.. wow it is wonderful! Beware it is Austria so the sauna and steamrooms are nude only. The pool has wonderful views. The spa treatments were incredible.
Food was amazing and plentiful! Eggs and bacon for breakfast, and choice of meat, fish or veggie for dinner. The food is amazing here.
Walk to the gondola takes about 7 minutes but then you are straight up the mountain. Lovely red runs and I went with a beginner snowboarder who started on all blues but progressed quickly on the long wide slopes. Lovely restaurants up the mountain too!
Couldn't recommend it enough. Went with 2 non skiers who found they had enough to occupy themselves between the spa and the bar and loved being there!

In love with this superb hotel and spa in the middle of the beautiful Bad Gasthofstein. The hotel is well preserved with beautiful classic style rooms featuring marble floors and wooden furniture with gold finishes. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We traveled with our baby and dog and the hotel accommodated for both, even including a small welcome package for the dog including some dog treats and a massage lotion, very attentive! The restaurant and staff is also very much recommended. Good variation of dishes for dinner and an elaborate buffet for breakfast. The spa includes a pool, jacuzzi, various saunas and hot steam baths, a relax area and outside part. To park the car you can either choose the outside or underground hotel parkings at 15 euro per night, or park at a nearby public location which we opted for.

The best hotel you can find in bad hofgastein, very clean room, nice breakfast, staff are very very friendly, since 2015 I live in this hotel every summer, always getting better, thanks for all the staff.
