Alpentherme Gastein

Overall a great day, spent 5 hours there and although we get bored easily, there was always something to try and do. The toboggan was SO fun and we're 30 years old, so don't think the family world section is just for families. The spa was very busy however so you may need to wait around until there is space. The food inside is actually not bad at all, goulash and noodles is great!

Stopped in here for some much needed R&R after a heavy week skiing. Fantastic facilities with superb views of the resort. Highly recommend a night session to enjoy the lights in the outdoor pool.

It's a little expensive, but it's totally worth your time.
Few hot pools, 2 outside pools, 1 poll for training, and a lot of saunas.

Just relaxing.....beautiful Spa in a beautiful area

Really great thermal bath. Nice, clean with multiple warm (approx. 34C) and cold (approx. 24C) pools, indoors and outdoors. Gorgeous view to the mountains. There is a family world with a pool for babies, one for age between 2 and 4, and a large one for older kids. Wonderful sauna world with about a dozen saunas, restroom, sleeping room, bubble bath and a swimming pond. Ceremonies in every half and full hour. There is also a ladies room, a gym, a gymnastics room (guided trainings in every hour), solarium, massage, etc. Entrance is free with Salzburg card (4 hours), sauna included. Parking is 1 euro per hour, but free for thermal bath visitors. Parking ticket must be validated at departure to be free.

Spectacular place, fantastic, kind staff. Saunas and pool are amazing. You can't ask for more, for sure one the best thermal spas in Europe

The sauna world is amazing! Super relaxing!

Very nice location to relax while watching Alps at sauna area. Every Sunday child can go to Sauna area with parent, so we enjoyed whole family. Each places has max limit of the people to enter due to Covid-19 prevention, while you may stay max 4 hours. The rules are strict, so risk is low. We will come back again on Sunday.

Nice pools for adults and special area for kids, best saunas and outside natural pool with mineral watter. Clean and relaxing.

Nice place, separate areas for family - more vivid and noisy, and for people wanting to relax only. Great view of the mountains arround. Kids enjoyed a lot the two waterslides.

Perfect spa experience for families or couples. Don't miss the crystal pool and sauna!

The pools were great, varied and warm. The outdoor pools were especially good with amazing views, and had a great atmosphere in cool weather and rain. The kids really enjoyed the waterslides and the family zone.

The restaurant was good, and we especially appreciated the awareness for gluten-free dishes. Most places we went to either didn't know what we wanted or wouldn't guarantee anything was gluten-free, but here the manager took us through the menu and pointed out anything that already was, or could be made gluten-free.

Overall we had a great time, and absolutely recommend.

Great place! A bit crowded in the summer weekend, but there are a lot of locations and attractions for all. Children will love it

I had so much fun at Alpentherme! I especially enjoyed relaxing in the water while looking at the mountains and swimming in the natural pool in the sauna area!
