Restaurant Aurum

What a really nice diner and experience at the cosy Restaurant Aurum in Bad Hofgastein. The menu card is diverse but with very tasty and well-prepared dishes. Good raw materials.

We are a family of four with two grown-up kids that enjoyed the risotto - a pure success. The lamb with veg. and juicy rosemary sauce can also be recommended. We’ll for sure come back soon again.

Absolutely wonderful restaurant in the area. So delighted we chose this as our venue for our first night. Everything was exactly on point. Beautiful food, lovely presentation and very good/ friendly and efficient service. We loved it, thank you!

The building, the food, the service: all fantastic. We had the schnitzel, mixed grill, cheese dumpling soup and the salad was the best I've had in a long time.

Really excellent restaurant. The food and the surroundings are traditional Austrian, but without the kitch. The food is simply delicious, although the large serving sizes were more than my appetite could manage.

Absolutely wonderful wait staff! We were lucky enough to get a seat without a reservation on a Friday night. I enjoyed the barbecue platter with a selection of perfectly prepared meats and veggies!

Great restaurant and really friendly staff, the lava chocolate cake was amazing 👌😋 the only downside is that they want to rush it a little bit, I didn't decide what to have for a drink and said I was looking, and not even a min later I was asked if I decided already... and on the menu it doesn't say lava cake or moelleux of chocolate but chocolate cake, those are 2 different things though

To get fish with proper fish cutlery is a sign of real professionalism and I'm afraid very rare nowadays particularly in tourist hotspots. I had char (Saibling) and it was really delicate and pulled cleanly off the bone. Well done. Smart businesslike service too.
