The place is very nice and clean. The pastries are excellent and the bread looked very delicious and soft. We were treated with the best of attentions and the personal was very friendly. If you are looking for something sweet, please do visit this Bäckerei. Excellent service.

I was looking for some breakfast on my way through Salzburg and just by chance saw this bakery out of the corner of my eye. I circled back around and went in. To be honest, this place is probably the best place I have been to in regards to bakeries. The location is perfect with the ability to sit outside and their selection of sweets and breads is great. The gentleman behind the counter was super courteous and helpful when asking what everything was. He helped in choosing the perfect pastries for my wife as well(not an easy task haha). Overall, this place exceeded my hopes for a simple breakfast and made it one of my all time favorite memories while on the road. If you are looking for a bakery this place is it.

Very friendly owner, the pastries are really tasty!

My family and I stumbled upon this bakery by accident, and were taken by the delicious food and amazing customer service given by Sladi. The pastries were delicious as well as the sandwiches, and he has the best coffee I’ve ever drank in all of Austria. Sladi was very accommodating to my dietary restrictions. We liked it so much we kept going back the entire time we were in Salzburg. Highly recommended and would absolutely go back whenever I’m in Salzburg again.

Amazing food, service, and Sladi was absolutely wonderful. He was always super kind and spoke great english. Sladi bent backwards to help meet our certain dietary needs and was super nice about it too. The baked goods and sandwiches were incredible and the Hot Chocolate and Coffee were the best I’ve had. Visited this place everyday we were Salzburg. 20/10. If I’m back in Salzburg will definitely be visiting this bakery again.

The best service from an incredibly kind man behind the counter. You could tell he loved to talk to customers and make everyone feel welcome. Coffee and pastries also delicious and he brought us a little sample of their shortbread cheesecake to try which was lovely too. A gem of a place and service we won't forget.

The oldest (civillian) bakery of Salzburg is not only a picturesque spot to snap some photos, one can also stop by in the morning for breakfast. I recommend the "Mürbteigtopfentaschen", an Austrian kind of shortbread filled with sweet cottage cheese and "Steirisches Landbrot", a natural sourdough bread with an exceptionally awesome crust.
