The server, Tamara was exceptional, kind and fast; the food was awesome. There are many different kinds of beer to try. The restaurant is clean, bright with good music and atmospehere. There is also a nice garden outside with rain umbrellas

Traditional Austrian Gasthaus with local food and various grilled options. Friendly and fast service. Food was home-cooked style, simple but very good.
Recommend you to order: Schweinbraten, Rips, mixed grill and of course, a glass of draft beer.

Stayed at the nearby hostel and was recommended to come here for Bavarian food.

Beer was tasty, staff were great, and food wasn't bad. Got the goulash and the meat was a little dry but the sauce and the dumpling were good. Prices were normal for the area and the energy of the place was good. Happy with my experience!

Lovely beer garden, good food, great beers and service. Pretty fast even though it was very busy. Reasonable prices too so certainly recommended!

Very friendly staff, the garden is amazing, but the indoor space is also cozy. The waiting times might be bit long, but nothing excessive considering how busy it gets. Food was delicious, everything was tasty, came really warm, and the portions are big!!

Hands down, the best Austrian restaurant in Salzburg, and this is a hill I'm willing to die on. I've been coming to this restaurant since 2019 and it has never, not a single time, disappointed me. Moreover, I have mentioned this place to other friends living in Salzburg (Austrians too, not only internationals) and they all agree that this place is outstanding, to say the least.

The prices might be misleading, but let me tell you: it's worthy. The portions are very generous so you will be very satisfied too. However, all of this is irrelevant because the food is so flavorful and rich. And let's not forget about their Hausbier. It is such a pity they don't commercialize it because it's seriously amazing.

The staff is very friendly and even though I now order in German, I never had a problem ordering in English in the past.

The venue itself is very spacious and their Biergarten is fantastic when it's open (although it can get a bit chilly once it's dark).

Beware of the ribs! They are delicious :D Ribs cost around 15 euro and the value is spot on. Quality wise it tastes delicious and looks the part. The portion is huge, so you better go there hungry. Staff was very nice and friendly. Overall feel of this restaurant was cozy and great for groups, music is not loud and it's easy to communicate.

Been there many times and was never disappointed! I love the all vegetarian options (of which there are many for a traditional Austrian restaurant) and I also love that there's mini options for some dishes. Altogether great place I would recommend.

Amazing food and service. Huge portions at a very reasonable price. It was so good we went back the next evening again. Also try their own brewery beer. Quite refreshing!

I suppose Europe has a lot of places like this. Outside seating beneath spreading trees. Rocky ground and shared tables...the sort of thing I love about Europe and wish the US had more of.

The beer was fresh and coolish...since almost no liquid is served ice cold. The food was Bavarian type pork which is SO good. The outside has that wonderful crunch to it and the inside is juicy and tender. It's so good, in fact, that I'm going to try and make it at home.

There are a lot of beers to choose from here. I do not know if they do the "flight" thing. If they did u would have chosen 5 and enjoyed them all.

Ribs and service were good. What else can I wish for 😃

Very nice and rypical

Good food with seasonal offers. Not crowded as it stays off the touristic routes. Looks like this place is for locals, which is usually a good sign.
