Restaurant Pfefferschiff

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at a magnificent fine dining restaurant in Salzburg. Housed in a beautifully converted old building, the restaurant boasted a stunning interior decor. The food was nothing short of remarkable, combining Asian spices and western ingredients with innovative twists to create a truly unique culinary experience. Our dinner comprised of five courses, each expertly paired with different wines. This Michelin star rated establishment offered an extensive selection of local wines to complement each dish.

Among the many highlights of the meal, the standout dish was the duck liver coated with white chocolate and finished with a raspberry sauce. The flamed scallops with fennel were equally delightful, while the egg dish with caviar was a taste sensation that paired perfectly with a glass of white wine. The hamachi with smoked dashi sauce was particularly appetizing, leaving me wanting more.

However, the saddle of lamb fell short of my expectations, as the meat was slightly tough and chewy. Nevertheless, it was still an enjoyable dish overall. For dessert, a special lemon cake with ice cream was a wonderful way to end our dinner.

Throughout the evening, the wines we were served were exceptional and added to the overall experience. Tasting the Austrian wines was a memorable experience in itself. The service was excellent, and the staff made us feel welcomed and attended to throughout the meal.

In summary, it was a fantastic dining experience with great food, excellent wine, and exceptional service. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Salzburg in search of a truly remarkable culinary adventure

Really fantastic restaurant, top notch execution of fresh local ingredients. And great friendly service. Deserves every bit of their Michelin star and more. Worth the journey, as they say.

Perfect 5 stars. Impeccable service and a wonderful atmosphere. The food was elegant and delicious. It was a great treat away from usual tourists areas.

It is a bit a shame that Google does not suggest anything about the restaurant being upper class place. We came in randomly after 700km drive, unexpecting a Michelin wanna be restaurant. The service is very good by most of the staff, the food is excellent. Do not order a la cart, go for the menu they have, price wise it will be the same, but experience will be more complete.

A localy rest with great and tasty food
We order a pankcack soup (was great), tender steak with vegetables and hawain pizza.
For the kids we order tender schnitzel.
Everything was good and tasty
The payment is in cash!

Absolutely incredible. Whenever we are in town, we go to this restaurant. The full menu is a wonderful experience. Recommended!

Wunderschönes Restaurant in ruhiger Lage mit herrlich schattigem Sitzgarten. Das Essen (wir haben das vegetarische Menü und das Menü "Jürgen Vigne" gegessen) war außergewöhnlich gut und von höchster Qualität bzw. Raffinesse.
Sehr freundliche Besitzer und ebenfalls sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal.
Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Essen: erstklassig. Sehr schön angerichtet, mit kleinen Überraschungen. Geschmacklich hervorragend.

Service: sehr freundlich, perfekt

Ambiente: im Außenbereich eine schöne Atmosphäre, innen sehr entspannt.

Wahrscheinlich das beste Restaurant, das ich besucht habe.

Unser Gaumen ist einen Tag später immernoch entzückt von den tollen Speisen. Wir waren zu einem besonderen Anlass dort und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch im Pfefferschiff.

Das Lokal hat eine tolle Atmosphäre und es wird sich sehr herzlich um die Gäste gekümmert. Der Service arbeitet aufmerksam und zügig, mit Leichtigkeit und ohne Hektik.
