Restaurant Karawankenblick am Pyramidenkogel – Christoph Schaschl

We had a fantastic time in Restaurant Karawankenblick. This is a family style restaurant with traditional local dishes. We went there on Friday during lunch time and were able to get a table without reservation. The place might get very busy in the weekends and during holidays. The service was excellent and fast, and we simply loved everything. My salad was seasoned to perfection, and the breaded chicken pieces were crispy and delocious. We also had dessert which were also very tasty. Highly recommended.

This restaurant will remain in our memory as a great one. The food was delicious, the staff energetic, friendly and fast. Perfect family restaurant. Our little one had special plate and forks for kids. After finishing our lunch they gave him a special present that was under a christmas tree and we got a plate of delicious homemade cookies. We will surely return!

We just stooped by while returning from pyramidkugel. I have to admit it this was good decision. As we were not so hungry we ordered only deserts. Was very good. We will surely return again to have very local nice lunch or dinner. Waiters were so nice. Worth stopping by while returning after visit of pyramidalkugel

Karawanken Restaurant is for sure a great choice, food is genuine and very well done, staff is friendly, the location, facilities and atmosphere are a warranty for a great experience.Highly reccomend it !

The food was great, generous portions, everything nice and clean, loved the details in the toilet, flower and different types of dispensers. We were asked several times of everything is alright, I will return for sure.
Tip: make an reservation to eat outside in August, even though the inside is quite nice as well.

We was there 25.12 and it was perfect. I have a gluten free diet and it was not problem with altought in the menu is nothing. Portions are to big, food is tasty and normal prizes. Cindly personal. I like it.

Just fantastic. Have been there with my family - although pretty busy - had a warm welcome with happy face. Food well prepared and very tasty!!! Great place for kids to play.

Superb food, extremely service-minded and friendly staff, very nice interior (at least in some rooms of the restaurant), fantastic playground outdoors, reasonable prices. Too bad you don't have much of a view although situated half way up the mountain with a lovely surrounding area. Indoor playground is a joke, although surprisingly they at least have one which is not at all common in places like this. Overall you get very good value for money and when the weather is good it should be the perfect choice for families with kids!
