Nice platform to see the whole area. Breathtaking views! Buy combo ticket if you want to visit Minimundo or take a boat trip. It is better then the discount offered by Woerthersee card

Very nice view from the top. 16 eur entrance fee for adults. It really worth the experience. You can come down by slide (150 meters, about 20 seconds sliding time), which cost extra 5 Eur.

Great vista point and the site itself is fun. But not for people scared of heights. There is a lift that takes you up and down, plus 3 levels of viewing. Can get quite windy, even on a hot day.

Absolutely breathtaking view and simply a must if you’re visiting Klagenfurt. For those who still like to indulge their inner child every so often and enjoy a bit of adrenaline - you should definitely take the long slide on your way down!

We walked from the parking place on a pretty difficult route to the tower (route nr 27, ~4.5km, 2.5h). It was beautiful and fun, for the children too. The elevator was not working in the tower, but 'walking is the best medicine', so with a couple of hundred steps we reached the top.:) The view from the top is amazing. You can see the Wörthersee, the Alps and more. If you decide to walk to the tower, then be aware of that the last bus comes at ~18:15. We missed it.:D

Beautiful place for everyone doesn't matter how old you are .
We have attended the tower when the lift was broken, so several hundreds of steps must go up :-)
If you are interested you can go down by mega long slide on carpet

Very nice and interesting place, almost 100 meter high. There are two options to go on top, by elevator or by staircase. We go by foot and at half way you must beat fear by adrenaline rush. My wife give me some brawery to suceed. Thnx love ♥

Spectacular views. Fair price as well and an awesome slide down. But wouldn’t recommend for someone who is afraid of heights as the tower does feel like it sways in the wind…a bit disconcerting

Great place to have a view of the area and slide down some 50+ meters. Beware they take picture of you when you end your slide so try to make a better face than we did :P only downside is thats too crowded and parkspace is limited to the amount of people

Very nice viewing point. I recommend to go when there is no fog and nice weather. Normal entry 15€, student ticket 10€. There is a slide do go down the tower, it cost 4.5€.
There is a souvenir shop too.

The view is breathtaking! You can see all of the lake, the town and the hills nearby. You can either use an elevator or stairs to climb to the top. To get down you have more options, like a giant slide and a zip line.
Even thou it might be a bit expensive for an observation tower the view is wort it.

Here are some interesting facts about Pyramidenkogel in Austria Wörthersee:

It is the tallest wooden observation tower in the world, at 100 meters (328 feet) tall.

It has a 120-meter (394-foot) long spiral slide, which is the longest in Europe.

The tower offers panoramic views of Lake Wörthersee, the surrounding mountains, and the Julian Alps in Slovenia.

It is also home to a restaurant, a café, and a souvenir shop.

The tower was built in 2013 and was designed by the Austrian architect Günther Domenig.

Here are some additional interesting facts:

The tower is made of over 1,000 cubic meters of wood, which is the equivalent of about 10,000 trees.

The tower's spiral staircase has 441 steps.

The tower's observation deck is 70 meters (230 feet) above the ground.

The tower is accessible by car, bus, or on foot.

Not for the people that are scared of heights. Perfect landmark for adrenaline junkie, specially part with slide. If you are not elevator person you can walk with stairs to top/bottom. Great view from top (at least i heard i was too scared to go), dogs are allowed only with muzzles.

Cool place. Road going up is fun, although might be challenging for novice drivers considering how steep and twisty it is in places. Parking lot is free, and large. Entrance to the building is very well maintained and the views from the top are brilliant. The slide from the top is well worth the 4 euros!

In 2013, the reconstructed viewing tower was opened on the summit of Pyramidenkogel, at 851 metres above sea level. At 100 metres tall, it is the highest wooden viewing tower in the world.
The construction comprises 16 immense, elliptically arranged, larch glulam supports and 80 diagonal steel braces. The actual structure is 67 metres high. Resting on this is the tower head with the two highest viewing platforms and the ‘Sky Box’. The ‘Sky Box’ (on the 9th floor) is entirely glazed, giving it protection from the elements.
At a height of nearly 71 metres, you will find the highest viewing platform, while the largest of the three viewing platforms can be found at a height of 64.16 metres.
With its 18-metre tall aerial, the building is exactly 100 metres high. The viewing tower was designed by Klagenfurt architects Markus Klaura and Dietmar Kaden.
Whilst climbing up the 441 steps or during a ride in the panoramic lift, visitors can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of Carinthia’s wonderful lakes and mountains. The lift transports up to 20 people at a time to a height of 70 metres.
From a height of 52 metres within the viewing tower, Europe’s tallest indoor tunnel slide shoots down 120 metres to the ground floor. Speeds of up to 25 km/h can be reached on the 20-second ride.
On the ground floor on the main tower building, there is a restaurant which serves national and international dishes, the ticket sales office and a souvenir shop. In the outdoor area there is a spacious playground to entertain the little ones. It has a large climbing frame with slide, as well as some swings and a hill in which a tunnel system is hidden. At the end of the terrace there is a playhouse for very small children.

15 euros to visit the top and 4 euros to slide down the longest inclosed slide in europe. Definitely worth the thrill.

The views from the top were breath taking!

Well, the place is worth the money. Does not mean it doesn't cost a lot. For 14 EUR you get the view of a lifetime and a vertigo (if you are afraid of heights). 10 EUR if you are a student, teenager, kid or retired). 4 additional EUR if you want to use the slide (ca. 20s of a ride). You can use a lift or stairs, also accessible for the handicapped. You can take a photo in the top floor which is then shown downstairs in the souvenir shop. Getting there by bus is quite a stretch, better use a car. Bikes need to overcome a lot of elevation. The view itself is magnificent, you see the whole Wörther-See, surrounding smaller lakes and mountains, even Triglav. You need to buy a ticket at least half an hour before the ascent. Try to get there to see the sunset.
