The Salzburg Whiskey Museum - Bar

Had a wonderful time in the bar tasting whiskey 🥃.
Sam and the staff are so friendly and really helpful with recommendations to which whiskey to try, so don’t hesitate and ask them :). Will definitely come again on my next trip.

What a hidden gem this place is. We entered and had a heartfelt welcome from Katrina who expertly guided us through my group's whiskey selection. So impressed with her knowledge and time taken to find out our best fits for a whiskey. Sam, the evening bartender, came in later and continued with great service and our random musical requests. Our last night in Salzburg was a hit, because of this establishment and the staff.

Katrina was amazing! Really took the time to ensure our taste and got us the perfect whisky for our palette. Will definitely come back. Great place awesome atmosphere!

Prolly one of my fave memories when visiting Salzburg. I am in love with the culture and atmosphere. The lady bartender is very lovely, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Was recommended some pretty good whiskys. We also of course have to get some Guiness and Kilkenny :) Throw in some live music and it transported me back to the awesome pubs in Ireland. 100% would recommend. I would definitely come back when I am in Salzburg again.

This was the perfect spot to spend our last evening in Salzburg! Caithriona has brilliant personality and great knowledge of the drinks she is pouring! Together her and Sam made our last night a great one.

Thank you. The Irish lass behind the bar was just incredible so attentive and great fun even with a bar full of people. If you like your whisky you have to visit here. In fact if you like a good bar with a great atmosphere and whisky then you have to come here.

Our first trip to Salzburg and all I can say is wow! Caitríona took very good care of us. She not only recommended fantastic whiskey based on our preferences, but also fantastic sights to see in Salzburg! Definitely recommend!

Sam and Catalina (sp?) run a really cool bar. The vibe and decor create friendly ambiance. Couple that with their fantastic selection of whiskey and Sam's intuition as to what whiskey is the one for you and you really can't go wrong spending an evening at the museum.

I was in Salzburg on vacation and popped in on my last night there, intrigued by the name and online reviews. Glad I did.

Thanks to Sam for turning me on to Red Spot. Damn fine whiskey.

Had the most amazing night here! Came highly reccomended by my sister. The service and the atmosphere was incredible! Sam and Caitriona have amazing knowledge of the drinks and are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Run by an Irish family, and I appreciated that they took the time to talk with everyone. The highlight of my holiday! Thanks again guys x

Great service and a great care on the whiskey served. Note its a bar, not a museum as such.

I had an absolutely amazing time, super friendly staff who are extremely knowledgeable. I asked for a peated whisky and was recommended Octamore 14.2, drinking this I felt like I was buried 20 meters underground, stuffed with gunpowder and set alight to burn for a few weeks! Absolutely amazing range of whisky and very welcoming, family atmosphere. I will be returning quite often

The whiskey was great, and the bartender did an amazing job at picking the one's he gave us specific to our taste and they were truly great but not expensive, he was really kind and even explained alot about the way they make tham and was knowlagable and kind, truly a place to visit

My husband and I are whiskey lovers, this is the best bar I've been to in Austria. The waitress was very warm and friendly, professionally introduced and recommended the whiskey we needed. Thank you for everything, great evening in Salzburg!

My wife and I found this place on a whim and I'm glad we did. Had some fantastic whiskey and the staff were super friendly. Hot Toddy was probably the best my wife has ever had (including mine, not that I'm a little bitter about that... Nope not bitter at all...). If you are a fan of Whiskey (or even whisky), this place is for you. Friendly and knowledgeable staff (Chris knew his stuff, gave me an excellent dram of whiskey based solely on the list of my preferences) and excellent service.

Fantastic! We loved our evening and we want to thank Kathrina who was incredible during our visit, real storyteller, knowledgeable and with a real passion for whisky! Our evening wouldn’t have been the same without her!

What a magic place in Salzburg. You go here when you want to have a nice night with your friends surrounded by an amazing vibe. There is also surprising live music from time to time!!

Fantastic little bar, bar staff great and very sociable, ideal for a solo traveller. As good a pint of Guinness as you’ll get outside of Ireland.
