Die Deantnerin

We always have lunch here when visiting Maria Alm and doing the Konigstour - usually with Ski Club of Great Britain. The restaurant is located directly on the red slope of the Bürglalmbahn. The welcome is super friendly the service excellent and the food is something I look forward to all holiday, truly delicious.

Many times we visited in Winter during skiing days over the years, which ultimately lead us to pick Die Deantnerin as our wedding location in July 2023. Mirko and his team go above and beyond and are just incredible hosts that make you feel like home. Mirko is a model in gastronomy. From hospitality itself to the great food his staff provides. I‘ll never forget when he told me during my first visit, that the little ones are as equal guests as their parents, as the little ones are the future which will drive back generations to this location. Our wedding day was filled with equal joy and guests from close and afar are still raving about their experience. Thank you for everything!

Great food - burger, pizza (they have a dedicated pizza oven), French Fries, vegeterian options and much more. The drink selection is even wider with lots of creative ideas - and last but not least, I was a bit ill and had to stick to tea, and they even have a wide range of teas, you normally don't need nor expect in such locations. If that's not enough: the architecture alone is worth a visit: a beautiful mix of wood and concrete ("Sichtbeton").

I've never been to a place with such a friendly welcome and world class service! We went there for a short skiing lunch break and went for some drinks and pasta / pizza dishes. Totally recommended!

Exceptional place! Absolute a contrast compared to the more traditional mountain restaurants, however its fits in perfectly. Food is priced friendly, and the quality of food is very high. What a stunning place, and not to mention the host; so friendly.

I really recommend this place! Despite having a reservation, we needed to wait half an hour to get our table. Nevertheless the staff, food and service is excellent and the chef always recognises us by face! Keep up the friendly spirit, we will see each other next year (:

The place looks fancy, and I was scared not to fit in. But then I have been served by the most sympathetic and caring staff I have ever seen in s long time. The food looks and tastes amazing, and the price are also really good for the quality.
I spent such a good moment, because it was really an experience, not just a meal.
I have stars in my eyes. Thank you so much to the boss and the staff. You made us smile constently.

This is such a great place. Brilliant design, decent and luxurious, but not pretentious. Love it here.

You can already observe from a distance that this is not your typical Austrian ski-slope restaurant: a modern-looking mountain hut, which is complemented by a well-styled interior and a very amicable staff. The menu features many Austrian favorites, but much more attention is paid to presentation than is custom in the area. Although deserving of a higher price level, the restaurant is actually competitively priced.

Stunning place! Very modern and it offers an amazing range of pizza and pasta. Better reserve seats as it's usually full. The service is great and the people are nice. The food is amazing! Some of the best pizzas you can get around the slopes. Would definitely recommend.

The friendliest service I've had in a restaurant for a very long time. It was quiet on the mountain when we went but the restaurant was still very popular.
