Übergossene Alm Resort

Absolutely fantastic! Truly amazing. Gorgeous resort, area and views. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Fair warning; this place is a FINE resort. It is fancy and no-doubt normally does not have many regular people like us (we used points, paid the extra, were there in the off-season and had a basic room). When I say fancy, I mean five forks at dinner and a five-course meal of tiny, artfully displayed dishes. The self-serve food and drinks available all afternoon were excellent, and more our style, while we relaxed on the beautiful terrace with fantastic views, after two hard-days of hiking. There is an incredible wellness/pool area. They offer seven different types of sauna. Seven! Words of wisdom to the uninitiated: In Austria, Marcus the very friendly Spa Master kindly explained, people in the saunas are expected to be nude (but lie only on a towel, not naked on the wood!). I feel like a real rube writing this, and I have traveled to 19 countries, but I had no idea there were seven types of saunas or that one was expected to be nude (which was fine by me but embarrassing as I didn't know, nor was it explained). I loved the amenities, though our room was really hot overnight with several very annoying flies. We had some technical issues with our phone, which had our hiking maps, etc. Vanessa, the woman at the desk, was fantastic! She very patiently helped us try to login to GaiaGPS and spent quite awhile helping us coordinate our hike out and bus/train back to Salzburg. The stay was an awesome experience, truly first class and five stars. If it is in your budget, you aren't uncomfortable in fancy surroundings or being around folks with lots of money, I definitely recommend staying there!

1. overall: great experience. our grand-kids loved it top to bottom and back up up again
2. outdoor facilities, recovery & relaxing zones are amazing and so are the 2 ponds there
3. what we were less impressed with (to be frank here)
- gluten free meal choice for our granddaughter was rather limited
- coffee self-service at breakfast in a 4*S isn't really up to the mark
- we didn't like being reassigned to different tables twice in a week
- the terrace should be far more utilized, more lovely decorated and prepared for either breakfast or dinner
when weather permits

We absolutely loved our stay with you hotel. All the services, options, and breathtaking views totally made our stay an unforgettable experience.
Facilities: we love the SPA, pools and heated pond was an absolute wonder! Parking garage with chargers for e-cars came in very handy. Loungers with mountain views were also awesome.
Services: Newspaper with activities - great idea. We ordered picnic basket and were extremely pleased with it. Hochkoning card added up to our experience - we used it almost every day
Food: breakfasts and Dinners were absolutely awesome. Variety, service, changing menu - all great
Staff: We felt really welcome, everyone was trying to make us feel comfortable.

One of the nicest hotels we have visited, maybe the best. Perfect service, the staff is very helpful and always kind, food is amazing and the hotel provides anything you would need and can think of. I actually dont know what they could do better, because all this, combined with the unbelievable location... Wow!! You have my respect, you have mastered how to run a perfect hotel/resort.

My stay there was simply gorgeous. If you are considering having a break from daily routine, this hotel is the best place to hide from the world. Special thanks to the chef for turning the restaurant into gastronomical paradise!

Nice hotel, lots of things to do, good food and nice staff. Will probaby return someday in the summer for cycling vacation.

We had a wonderful family vacation, great value for money and you get more than you expected from a 4 stars hotel. The only thing to improve is the comfort of the bed and pillow, but the rest is great.

Has the greatest and funnest indoor play area for children. Food is local and prepared to perfection.

Outstanding views and spa hotel both for families and couples. Natural pools and swimming pools. The children play area is like a ginger bread fairy tale.

There are not many things in life that keep improving. Usually it is the other way around. But Ūbergossene Alm just gets better and better. Food, wine, services, smiles, you name it. And all on the top of the tops. So if you are looking for the best, you just found it.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und wir waren wunschlos glücklich. Über Wanderrouten wurden wir gut beraten und ein kostenloser Transfer hat uns ohne dass wir uns voranmelden mussten zu einem der Startpunkte gebracht. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Saunawelt war abwechslungsreich. Das Hotel hat eine gute Ausgangslage zum Skifahren.

Überaus entdpannend und wohltuend. Die Freundlichkeit aller macht die Atmosphäre auf der Übergossenen Alm so friedvoll und entspannend. Das Spa und die vielfältigen Entspannungsorte, Saunas, Ruheräume und Anwendungsmöglichkeiten haben alle unterschiedliche Wünsche auf das Höchste befriedigt. Die Qualität und Sauberkeit waren überall zu 100% vorhanden.
Ich hätte mir nicht mehr wünschen können, das Gleiche gilt auch für den Rest der Familie.
Wir arbeiten selber in der Gastronomie/Hotellerie und wissen, welcher Schulung und permanente Beaufsichtigung solch ein Anspruch bedarf.

Ein sehr freundliches, sauberes Hotel! Der Kurzurlaub war sehr erholsam und wir wurden durch das Personal hervorragend betreut. Vom Essen über die Wandermöglichkeiten bis hin zum Einschlafen unter dem „Sternenhimmel“ hat alles wunderbar gepasst!
