Superb food, service on point.. efficient and friendly. Staff all seem to speak multiple languages which helps. Menus in multiple languages, and colour coded so staff knows which language your ordering from.Lovely old building.... Prices decent for the quality of food and drink. Will be back. cash and cards accepted

The food was very good, I ordered and within a minute the food was in front of me. So the speed was perfect and at first I thought that the schnitzel was somehow too big and the potatoes not enough, but as I started eating it didn't seem so much to me. And the price too acceptable.

This was the first Austrian restaurant my husband and I have ever tried. The beer was amazing and the food was delicious. I cannot eat beef or pork and really appreciated that they had vegetarian options for me to choose from. I ordered the cheese dumplings that came with salad and absolutely loved it. We also enjoyed the Hefetrüb beer very much. Atmosphere felt very much like a traditional tavern and we appreciated reading about the history and values of this tavern. Would definitely come back again.

Cosy atmosphere with an attentive waiter.
We had the ribs which were very tender, the Old Austrian and the schnitzel which were very authentic. I would recommend all dishes. The radler was also very refreshing.
We had a delightful time and won’t hesitate to return.

The food was delicious, affordable, and there was plenty of it. The ambience of the tavern was also friendly, warm, and comfortable. Our waiter was clearly in a hurry, but still was polite and spoke great English, and made ordering easy and pleasant. Overall, an excellent and affordable restaurant!

Amazing restaurant. We had to wait for our table but not for long and they took care of us quickly and made sure for us to get the table. The food was amazing. We had goulash and wienerscnitzle. Great great service!

We came here for dinner earlier and it was the best meal out we had since we came to Austria, Salzburg.
We had beef goulash, herb rice & fries and everything was very tasty. The beef goulash is superbly delicious. Very generous portion sizes & decent prices too. The atmosphere is super nice & cozy. The staff were very friendly and respectful. I highly recommend Zipfer Bierhaus. We'll definitely come back here when we visit Salzburg next time. Danke!

Looking for a good food in Salzburg? Go there! Amazing vibe and smell from the moment of entrance, nice menu choice. I recommend potato soup (gimme more!) & curd dumplings. Cheers to our great waiter Alexander 😀

We were looking for traditional restaurants in Salzburg, and this Bierhaus met our expectations! The menu is also suitable for vegetarians. The ambiance is quite lively, and the staff is funny and super friendly. So, if you are looking for a good meal for reasonable prices, you will enjoy your evening at this place!

Such an amazing experience that we came back twice in a day to get dessert. We both got the käsespätzle. It was sooo good! The service was really good and a side salad came with it. We came back for the Apple strudel and it was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for authentic Austrian food.

Delicious food, fast serving, nice atmosphere!

We've got the Wiener Schnitzel. It came fast, it was hot, crispy and very tasty. A proper schnitzel. Also we drank a beer. The staff was friendly and brought the order fast.

The Goulash and Gröstl are both very good. Service is prompt and friendly. Interior is cozy, feels like a traditional bierhaus. There is an interesting attraction inside near the pathway to the toilet - a sealed well with a skeleton.

We stopped in here because it was cold and raining. Plus, the hound was able to join us inside. Our waiter was fantastic.

Started with the potato soup, which was very good (especially since it was cold). Our meal was the assortment of wieners and the schnitzel with cranberry sauce. Both solid dishes!

We finished with the Mozart Parfait. The dessert was our favorite part because it was different!

We would definitely eat here again. Good beer selection!

Incredible speed of service by waiters and good food - with choice. Prices very reasonable (way better than other restaurants) and top location - you will run into it if you are in center.
