Food is great! Never had a schnitzel like this! It had mushrooms and some tasty stuff inside the schnitzel! Spanish sea food was also good! Spicy kick! Service was good but only one lady was working so you have to be patient…

One of the best restaurants in Salzburg. The food is excellent. There is classic Austrian cuisine and also seafood to choose from. Highly recommended. The interior is a little bit oldschool, but it doesn’t matter cause of the food quality. I go there since 2004. Be sure to try the beef tartare with quail eggs, the best in Salzburg!

This is definitely my favourite restaurant in Salzburg. You can find may local family dishes here which are not available in other tourist restaurants.
The clear beef soup is much better than the restaurant opposite to it.
The roasted liver I ordered came surprisingly good. Most of the liver taste is covered, and the savoury sauce (a bit sour) is so tasty. I haven’t had liver for long time and I love it! 👍🏼 If you’re an adventurer like me, I highly recommend this dish.
The homemade pasta my friend order is also very nice. Fresh and lots of flavours. However, I found it too salty.
The omelette is very freshly made and very tasty. It is big portion to share for 2-3 people.

The best!! One of the best schnitzel we have ever had. The restaurant is helmed by just a lady and a chef!! But the service was great and food didn’t take long to be served!! It is truly worth the wait! The lady was nice and chef is friendly too. If I have the stomach i’ll try everything on the menu. The food the lady brought out every single time was eye catching. The seafood pot looks so inviting too!! Love love this place . We do not understand the 1 star review by some.. friendly begets friendly!! The food itself worth more than 5 stars

A nice little gem not far away from the train station. We ordered the famous Salzburg schnitzel and seafood pan, which were both scrumptious. The schnitzel came with some potatoes and salads that were well seasoned. The bread came with the seafood pan was very nice. We really enjoyed our meals.

The most delicious food in Salzburg Hands down. The Schnitzel (salzburg style) is fried to perfection and the meat is amazingly juicy and tender. It is filled with mushrooms and bacon.

The Seafood pan mix of prawns and mussels is simply divine. The broth came piping hot, served with white bread. The broth is a perfect balance of savoury and sweet, which leaves you wanting more. The seafood is fresh and delicious, with a very generous serving.

I tried the locals recommended drink "Almdudler". It's a refreshing lemonade soda that isnt too sweet, and perfect to wash down a delicious rich meal.

Anyone visiting Salzburg should, must come to this unassuming restaurant and try the food. Its authentic and amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and you can tell they take great pride in the food they were serving.

If you'd like to try soup & spaghetti simultaneously, "Tomato Spaghetti with mussels" is highly recommended when you especially want to relieve your liver after dringking. Schnitzel of Salzburg style is also unique and good.

Just touched down in Salzburg and was eager for a proper meal and some beer - it was quite late. This was the place to go. Ticked all the boxes. Cosy and welcoming inside, with a great bar and wooden furniture and red & brown seating and colours.

The mussel cream soup was delicious and a great start to a meal for ravenous travellers. Followed by the kasnockerl (cheese gnocchi with crispy bits & salad) and another half or two of Stiegl beer. Perfect

Absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the highlight meals in my Germany-Austria-Italy trip.
Do not miss out on ordering the Spanish seafood pan and their special schnitzel. Soo Soo sooooooo good.

Great little spot to grab a bite. Great menu that's executed well and gives you a slice of local Austrian fare. There's safe dishes like spaghetti with shrimp or chicken cordon Bleu if you have a non adventurous member of your group, but you'll miss out on the great daily specials

Tasty Schnitzel which is juicy within the meat compared to German Schnitzel. The dough around the Schnitzel is crispy.
The hahnbrust dish (turkey breast) also tastes delicious due to the champignon sauce dressing with a slight taste of wine within it.
Overall the atmosphere and food are pleasant with decent quality.

A cozy bar & restaurant. It attracts both locals & tourists. The chef was super nice and kind. We ordered schnitzel in Salzburg style and mussels, and 2 drinks. Food was delicious and not expensive. But unexpectedly, it allows smoking! Luckily enough the doors were open and we sat near the entrance. But overall it was a good experience!

The restaurant itself is so welcoming where the chef even greet us in person. The seafood booth is so good, gonna be one of my favorite dinner place in Salzburg!

Amazing food！Better than Graz

Brilliant food and service, really cosy and friendly atmosphere and service. Had the wren Fleisch one night and blutwurstgröstl on another, delicious!

One of the most delicious restaurants in Austria. Salzburg Schnitzel is a must-see. You may not like a nonsmoker because it is a smoking place in a restaurant, but you should get a taste of it.

Amazing meal, fairly priced and arrived super quick! The Mr. and Mrs. were very kind and patient as I am learning German. Good energy and atmosphere, cannot wait to come back and try their other food. I had the Salzburger-Schnitzel but the seafood platter seemed to be ordered just as often.

Really wanted to taste some food from here, but couldn't make it, because it's closed until Jan.09.2024.
