Der Elferkogel lässt sich am besten vom Almsee über den Sepp-Huber-Steig erreichen.
Auf dem Gipfel befindet sich ein kleines aber feines Gipfelkreuz.

Lässt sich super mit den anderen Gipfeln Neuner-, Zehner-, und Zwölferkogel verbinden. Das wäre dann die Almtaler-Sonnenuhr-Tour mit Abstieg über die Grieskarscharte und Grieskarsteig.
