Dear Hotel Jakob's Team,

We spent 2 nights at the hotel with our dog.

The hotel is at a great location, super clean, beautiful inside and outside.

The staff are really excelent, so professional, kind and helpful.

The kitchen is outstanding. We had a nice, fresh and versetile bufet breakfast. The a la carte menu is short but the quality is superb.

Lots of hotels claim themself pet friendly, but we've been blown away when we walk in our room and we find a small package with a mat, a towel, a toy etc. prepared for our dog. Super nice gesture ☺

We enjoyed every moment staying at Hotel Jakob. Thank you very much, hope we will visit you again.

We had an excellent time staying at Hotel Jakob. It's a perfect place for athletes with everything you need for training camp.

Just some of the highlights:
- 25m pool open in the mornings for hotel guests only, epic training spot.
- Running, cycling and walking maps are available in paper form or you can simply scan the QR code.
- The private beach is perfect, clean, quiet and sunny.
- Lake is good for open water training, it's not too busy.
- Good coffee and healthy options for breakfast and dinner! Great sweats too.

The staff are friendly and helpful, you don’t need to be a PRO here, it’s a place for everyone!

Huge thanks to the bike service guy for all the help, bike discussions and service!

Plus the hotel is dog friendly! There was a welcome gift for her which she absolutely loves. No one has a problem with her barking from time to time when she gets emotional!

What can I say, it's everything an athlete dreams of. Thank you Jakob for creating such a great place, we will be back!

Excellent hotel with food to die for. Literally, the food is just amazing and the pastry department cannot be beat. A must try if you are in the area.

Our stay at the Jacob hotel was nothing short of perfect.
The staff was friendly, and professional.
The owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful in showing the best bike routes.
The rooms are modern and with more than enough space (very cute the bike helmet holder on the wall).
Breakfast served from 7 am includes a rich buffet with different types of milk and local produce.
Dined at the hotel restaurant twice, including one in the lovely hotel garden, and were very satisfied with the menu and drinks.
Bike service is at another level, with plenty of space to safely store your bike and a mechanic available to support your setup.
The rate includes free access to a 25m heated pool with a weekly lesson.
Complimentary electric car charging.
The beach on the lake is convenient and the scenery is unique.
We will be back, definitely

Beautiful hotel, great service, and outstanding food. I don't have a view of the lake but the view is still charming.

This was my fourth time returning to Hotel Jakob (formally Mohrenwirt) and things have only gotten better!
The stay was absolutely perfect. Beautiful guest rooms at extremely reasonable pricing. Every amenity one could ask for is available easily through the fantastic staff. Whether you are coming for training or leisure you have flexibility and options to enjoy the beautiful area.
The hotels restaurants and cafes are delicious and feature premium dishes at great prices. Wait staff are impeccable and accommodating.
Jakob himself is extremely kind and welcoming — you’ll see him around the property often and be greeted with a smile.
Fuschl am See is a must visit during your trip to Salzburg and the surrounding area — do not hesitate to book a room at this wonderful hotel. I will undoubtedly be back and can’t wait to stay here again!

A top hotel if you want to run, cycle and swim!
Everything about this hotel is geared for an active fantastic experience.
Food is super top. The breakfast really caters for healthy people. There is a buffet laid on from 2-5pm when you come back starving from a ride!
Great bikes to hire (Canyon) but remember your own saddle and if you ride a lot. You can also rent e bikes so great for partners who are not so fit for the hills.
You get a card for the Fuschlsee bad and a chance to swim early every day at 7.45am before the public come in. This is one of the best swimming locations I have ever visited but beware crowds when it's a hot sunny day.
I advise you ask for a room at the back of the hotel. It is cooler and quieter. You can have the windows open and just hear the river below. Rooms on the street get very stuffy and there is noise from the seating area below...maybe not a problem if you like to go to bars rather than sleep early!
A really great place to stay and train.

Truly excellent place to stay for athletes and non athletes alike. Professional and attentive staff. Owner (who is a triathlete himself) is ever present and personable. Private beach on emerald green Lake Fuschl is a short walk away. Three cheers for a top accomodation catering to active visitors in beautiful Salzkammergut
P.S. We forgot a bunch of stuff in our room and they mailed it to us the very next day!

The hotel looks very good, they offer very good grooming products in the bathroom, it's pretty close to both the main road and to the lake. The bar is opened until late so you can have a drink if you want to and they have a tv where you can watch games. Breakfast is extremely good and varied, dinner menu is not extremely vast but food is very good. They sell all kind of sports gear in reception (sunglasses, tshirts, watches etc). The personnel was very kind and helpful. Only downside is there no a/c in the rooms so in autumn it can be a bit cold but they can offer electic heaters.

10/10 Recommend for any type of vacation! This hotel really feels like a home, which makes sense as it's in the fifth generation of the same family running it - Jakob said goodbye and seems great. The deco is a funky mix of old-fashioned Austrian Alpine Lodge and contemporary coziness, with hints of luxury around. It's amazing for cyclists or triathletes - they have a bike garage, bike shop, cleaning station with products, GPS to lend you with tons of routes, access to a heated pool and gym on the lake a few minutes walk, etc. The breakfast is spectacular, the little spa is wonderful, there are lots of places to hang out including the garden. The staff were all great. I met some other friendly guests. And the location and nature is just stunning. I can't wait to come back.

Stayed here with 20 high school aged teens. The entire staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to engage the kids. We ate dinner in the hotel each evening. FOOD was THE BEST of anywhere we ate while in country. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Fantastic stay! Everything was done to the highest of standards, from the rooms to the food in the restaurant. All the staff were wonderfully friendly, and it was great to see (and have chance to meet) the owner, Jakob - who was as helpful as he could be. Definitely hope to return in the future!

Whether an active holiday (swimming, biking, running, stand-up paddling) or simply taking a break from everyday life and enjoy the culinary indulgence, the Mohrenwirt is definitely "the place to be". With a private beach, free admission to the swimming pool, wellness and massage, there is something for everyone. And even your dog is welcome.
