Hands down my favourite bar in Salzburg. Pub quizzes, standup comedy and drag. And always a chill and friendly atmosphere. Also v queer friendly despite not being a gay bar.

It's a fantastic bar that is constantly hosting events for the community. Friendly staff and and nice patrons means I've never had a night that wasn't pleasant. I would heartily recommend coming here to anyone!

There is an amazing vibe at this bar. It is a multicultural and multinational place that you can meet people from different nationalities.
Everyone speaks English and it is quit unique in Salzburg 🤪

Home of the best pub quiz in town, Narrencastl is located in an unassuming building in a part of town where you'd expect - and can actually find, two doors down the road - an old men's watering hole, dive bar thing.
It is, however, a place where locals hang out, expats are actively encouraged and obscure (no disrespect) or lesser-known artists, standup-comedians perform.

It's a recco, folks.

This bar has events almost every day.
-They host English Stand up Comendy
(good laughs if I do say so myselft)
-Magik Garage (fantastic drag show)
- Karaoke nights
- They have a small but fun selection of board games
- They host Jam sessions on Sundays
And many more single on time events like bands / mario kart tournaments.

About the Bar itself. It is quite cozy and they are very friendly there! Drinks are not expensive and there is a bus line that drops you off next to the bar (Bus 4)

Excellent place to chill, have a few drinks, meet with friends, meet new people and enjoy shows of all kinds. The guys working there are the absolute best. They make you feel comfortable each time you go, they all speak English, and are absolutely amazing. Recommended to the fullest.
