Hotel Alpenkrone

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, I can't fault them on a single thing. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and the place was clean and quiet.

It's a place we most certainly consider returning to because the surrounding area has a lot to offer.

We had a lovely stay at Alpenkrone hotel between 10th and 17th of Feb. It has a great location and view, great facilities and friendly and helpful staff. The food was very delicious.
Filzmoos has its skiing facilities, but also it is quite neat to some big resorts like Schladming and Flachau, so you can easily enjoy some serious skiing in winter.

+: good location, really good breakfast and dinner, bus from the hotel takes to the slopes only 5 min, good sauna and swimming pool for children, everyday cleaning

-: old rooms, but it did not affect your stay at all

I would recommend this hotel and ask quotes directly from the hotel ;)

Regarding slopes, would recommend going Radstad that is 20 min from Filzmoos. More blue slopes there and less queue to the children slopes

We got stuck in the hotel due to weather in the mountains but that turned out to be fine, because we still had the opportunity to get into the trails and do our hikes. The rooms are comfortable the service is excellent and the hotel value is fantastic. Very good half board, excellent breakfast and dinners, sufficient to keep us fed on the trail all day not to mention tasty. Very friendly staff, good amenities and very reasonably priced. We will return here when coming back for sure.

A phenomenal place for your vacation. The rooms are simple, but clean and well maintained and let's face it: you don't go to the alps to just sit in your bedroom. The hotel itself offers various activities, including wellness, inner pool, gym, table tennis and much more. As for services, the in-house restaurant has phenomenal foods (4-step dinners especially!) and there is also a bar in the hotel, so you can buy a drink and enjoy it on a terrace with a breathtaking view of the mountains.

The hotel is exceptional, nice clean rooms, food variety excellent, we had breakfast and dinner. Hotel staff polite, Overall excellent.
We were lucky at the start of opening sky season on 17 Dec, although many resorts were closed, we had couple slopes were we could ski. I'm planing to go back this year hopefully this time with a bit more snow on the slopes. Big thanks to the business owner and to all staff.

Everything was great at this hotel, our room was clean, comfortable, hotel’s spa area was very well equipped (i only was to sauna, not swimming pool). A great advantage of the sauna is that no kids under 14 are allowed inside.
The food was absolutely amazing and delicious, staff was very helpful and friendly. There is nothing bad I could say about this hotel :) recommended.

We have been to a lot of nice hotels, but this one is special! We just loved our stay here. Delicious food, super friendly staff, spacious and we'll equipped spa area, gorgeous views from the rooms and restaurant. Highly recommended!

Nice and cosy hotel. Skibus in front off the hotel. Spacious rooms. We had a room with a fantastic view from the balcony. Very friendly staff.
A lot of choice at breakfast and a tasty 4-course dinner.

The food is really great, the staff is friendly and helpful. The best surroundings you could hope for, great view and beautiful hiking routes. Remember cash, since they do not use cretdit card as much in Austria.

We fell in love with this place. Very friendly personnel, delicious dinners, nice surroundings. Not in the center of the town but within walking distance. The hotel isn't really posh but very cosy. All that crowned by affordable prices.

Nice hotel. However it is 100 m above the village. Quiet. Nice walks around. Views on the village and sun in the afternoon.
