Holzmeister Alm am Hinteren Gosausee

We were here before the summer season started, still plenty of snow but otherwise beautiful weather. I took a drink from the "self-service store" and just admired the view.

Nice little place !
I only had drinks but the dishes seemed to be nice, smelled good!
The view is perfect.

Amazing. We had spaghetti and käsekrainer (supposedly home-made) with kraut & kren and everything was delicious. Considering the quite remote location, the prices were a nice surprise. And don't forget the magnificient views!

Great environment, great beer, delicious Apfelstrudel, and a stunning, beautiful view.It takes a while to get here, so the Vorderer Gosausee crowd is mostly gone.
We always go here, when visiting the mountain.
There is also a self service „honesty pay” option if the restaurant is closed.

Nice place to drink a beer and to enjoy the view. I found here a good local bottled schnapps, not like the ones from supermarkets.

In traumhafter Lage am See gelegen, besser geht es nicht. Trotzdem nicht geöffnet war, waren in einer Tränke gegen kleines Entgelt Getränke aller Art kaltgestellt. So das sich die Wanderer gut stärken konnten. Immer wieder würden wir dort einkehren.

Schöne Alm in top Lage. Hier ist es ruhig - vorausgesetzt man ist früh genug da bevor der Massentourismus einsetzt. Das gemischte Brot war super angerichtet und lecker.

Zauberhafte, urige Alm in traumhafter Umgebung. Frische Speisen, gute Portionen, moderate Preise. Gemütlich zum verweilen, perfekt als Ziel oder Zwischenrast für den weiteren Weg (ZmB. zur Adamekhütte)

Super občerstvení a kouzelné místo. Priroda je zde nádherná. Možnost se vykoupat v jezeře a dat si něco dobrého k jídlu a pití. A narazíte i na stádo krav.
