Gasthof Drachenwand

We are coming back to this restaurant regularly in the last 10+ years and I believe this is one of the best restaurants I have ever been. Food is excellent, great wine selection and service is superb. One thing to pay attention to is that you need to book a couple of days in advance so that you have a table, apparently many people find the place outstanding😉. Thanks for what you are doing every day, you are making a difference, we will definitely be regulars at this restaurant.

Staff was extremely welcome and the food is delicious. One of the best places to eat around Mondsee.

Great local and high-quality restaurant close to Mondsee, Wolfgangsee and Fuschl See. I had maybe the best Schnitzel in quite a while there. Nice outdoor seating under an old tree. Friendly service and plenty of parking.

We had lunch with friends here. Lovely food, large portions. I thoroughly enjoyed it ball, especially the iced cucumber soup.

Fantastic Austrian restaurant with a wide array of traditional dishes. Especially after a long and tough day of hiking it is JUST WHAT YOU NEED. Also very generous portions. And special hint: Try the Kaiserschmarren (sort of a sweet Austrian fluffy pancake) - it is second to none!

Always great here. Authentic Austrian food but at a very high end. Take the special when here if you can , I had local wild deer, locally hunted with truffle polenta. Outta this world.

The restaurant has got a very good menu and of a high quality food.
In a tranquil setting , that's a very enjoyable place to go out for a meal. And with friendly staff that makes the experience that much better.

Nice lunch with family: wonderful fish soup and backhendl that included a big salad. Perfect service. Somewhat more expensive, but justified by quality.

It is a very nice restaurant and hotel. Ideal place for a delicious lunch or dinner after to complete the Drachenwand kletter steig.

Amazing wiener schnitzel. They also offer very good draught weizen beer.
