Tyrone is on another level to any other trainer I’ve ever trained with. His extensive knowledge and desire to continue self educating on all aspects of the human body has produced great results in functionality and mobility reducing my back pain in just a few sessions.

I have been training with Tyrone for the last five years and in that time every area of my life has improved in som way, big and small, due to not only the training programs Ty facilitates, but also due to his immense knowledge on physiology, rehab, supplements, hormones and detoxification pathways…. I have progressively trained harder whilst balancing a busy schedule and remained injury free for years. I could not recommend anyone more highly… The gym is unpretentious and friendly. You owe it to yourself on the coast to book an appointment with Ty and get to work!

I started at Tight Fitness Solutions in March 2022 because I wanted too strengthen the muscles in an around my back due to an injury obtained while rollerblading. The personal program that Tyrone developed for my specific circumstances and his ongoing support as my personal trainer has helped me to be pain free and has given me a new found confidence in my physical abilities. I first started with Tyrone 7 years ago, when I trained under him I felt strong, motivated and healthy…life got in the way and regretfully I stopped training!
After years of niggling back pain and then months of crippling back pain I decided to get back in touch with Tyrone as I was confident that he could fix my problems. I had a consultation with Tyrone discussed my back, shoulder and neck pain, he listened carefully, assessed my pain and put together a personalised program for me. Two months in and I am completely free from any back pain, I am confident in going about my day knowing that my back is not going to give out on me. Over the years I have joined other gyms, done a few different ‘challenges’ and training boot camps etc but have never really got the results I get from training with Tyrone, particularly in such a short timeframe. Tyrone is passionate about individual results and tailors his programs to achieve them, he is particular about form so when you train with him you know that every single rep counts and that brings the results along quickly. I’m thrilled to be back training under Tyrone’s guidance, he really does know his stuff!

Tyrone has a great community of people who he manages with high quality programming, nutritional guidance and accountability!
The facility has all the requirements needed for a truly great workout and houses an array of speciality pieces of equipment that only quality trainers and coaches would consider to add to their space.

Tyrone’s knowledge and professionalism is second to none. I came in with back pain that I had been suffering with for years. Tyrone is by far one of the most effective exercise physiologists and trainers I've ever come across. His knowledge, attention to detail, care for his clients, facility, programs and results are of such high quality that you can't put him in the same category as other fitness professionals. His holistic thinking but bespoke plans are extremely effective, and can't recommend him highly enough. If you want to work on technique, sports injury recovery, joints and functional fitess... he's your man. Helped me massively on my shoulder injury and overall approach to training.

I first came to see Tyronne at Tight Fitness after acutely injuring an already arthritic knee to the point where I was struggling to walk, and the surgeon suggested I would need a complete knee replacement within 5-10 years. This knee injury also flared up past issues on my left side, such as a hip labral tear and ankle injury. Within weeks mobility, range, strength and confidence in my abilities started coming back as we navigated the flare-ups of all my injuries.
I feel I have more structural balance and a solid foundation due to Tyrone's phenomenal knowledge in rehab and programme design. I am now enjoying many lifestyle activities I had thought I had to avoid.
Another aspect of my health journey that Tyrone's expertise has helped immensely is my nutrition and supplementation protocols. Before starting PT with Ty I had pain in my back every day. I had a bulging disc in my lower back from a sedentary job.

I had tried Chiro, Physio, regular massage, Osteo, injections to stimulate inflammation and healing. All of which helped to a degree but I was still experiencing a minimum of 4/10 pain in my lower back.

I searched Personal Training for Back Rehabilitation because I wanted someone experienced in fixing back issues.

Within 2 months my pain level was down to a 2/10 and by 4 months I could say that I was no longer in pain.

If I had not had Ty's instruction I probably would have lasted 2 weeks because in the beginning it felt like the exercises were going to agitate my back injury further.

I have been going to Tight Fitness Personal Training in Burleigh for over a year now (even though I live on the other side of the Gold Coast). I'm sure he would be one of the best Personal Trainers on the Gold Coast and when it comes to back injuries he knows his stuff.

I'm so glad I went to Tight Fitness Personal Training in Burleigh to fix my back.

I started training at Tight Fitness Solutions to improve my overall fitness and work on strengthening a torn meniscus in my knee. With Tyrone’s knowledge and a personalised program I feel stronger, my knee has healed, I’m back playing netball again and I’m looking forward to a ski trip at Christmas! Thanks Ty!

If you're looking for more than a Personal Trainer, more than your typical generic fitness guru out there, than Tyrones your man! He's extremely knowledgable more than the majority of professionals within the fitness industry. He knows everything about nutrition and physiology of the body. So you're not getting surface level help but he can pin point where the focus needs to be and provide you with the tools, strategy and support to assist you with your goals. My name is Nelius Handley & I’m a 39-year-old man. I first meet Tyrone down at the P3 recovery Pools 10 days after I bugled a disk in my lower back while training at another gym. At the time my body was extremely inflamed, my back muscles had locked up & I could barely walk. I got talking to Tyrone in the pools & told him what I had done & he explained the science behind the injury & how the human body works. The following day I went in for an initial assessment & showed him my Xray & CT Scan reports. The reported stated that the is mild degenerative disc diseased associated with a shallow broad based disc bulge. at the L4-5 & L5 S1. During Tyrone’s initial assessment he explained that my pain is caused by years of training muscular imbalance & that there is good news that we can rehabilitate your back through strengthening all the weak muscles & start to bring the body back into alignment.
For the first 2 weeks we focused on stretching & breaking down the fascia tissue around the inflamed muscles & after 2 weeks I no longer needed the pain killers or anti-inflammatory. Tyrone educated me on the importance of stretching & how we need to break down the fascia tissue. After a couple of weeks, he started to introduce push pull mobility exercises to help strengthen the weak muscles. Tyrone is also studying Nutritional medicine & last year I completed 8 weeks of nutritional consulting, where Tyrone combines his nutritional knowledge with your individually specified program and I lost 10 kilos’.
It’s a great environment to train at Tight Fitness Solutions and It’s satisfying & comforting to know that Tyrone is in your corner to get you Fit, Healthy & Strong :-)

I have used Tyrone to help me in many ways. Firstly I had a knee injury that he helped me restore back to health, but we didn’t stop there he also helped me with my posture, strength, muscle gain. In turn it made me more confident.
Also to my surprise he knows and understands food and biology on another level. I explained about my gut health problems and he put me on an entire cycle of dieting and food which fixed me completely.
I owe him a lot of thanks.

If your in a slum, having some issues weather it be in your diet or your body this is the guy that will get you back on track Strongly recommend

Incredible place to train.
My partner and I have been coming here since the start of the year. After doing the initial consult, Ty picked up that my hips were out of alignment and created a plan to help correct it. 7 months later and my body is the strongest it's ever been and I'm able to do exercises that I used to avoid doing because my body would struggle with them (which was also because of my hips being out of whack).
Ty is such a great, incredible guy to train with and he really cares about your progress and success.. he doesn't just use the same warm ups and programs for everyone, its completely customised for each individual and their needs.

Tyrone is VERY knowledgeable, constantly researching and growing as a trainer. I injured my back and shoulder, felt tight and tired. I am an avid surfer and after discussing all of this with Ty he catered a program to rehab and strengthen. As a result, I am significantly fitter, stronger, and more aligned. This has seen my surfing improve (I am having waaayyyy more fun!!!) as well as day to day activities with the kids (even simple things like picking them up or hold them for long periods). I am super grateful I have found Ty, thanks mate!

I was looking for a way to train that was smart, motivating and addressed my specific injuries. I definitely found it at Tight Fitness Solutions with Tyrone and his team.

I have been carrying a minor issue with my my ankle for many years and over time this gradually caused more and more issues as the problem started to put strain on other joints and spread from one area to another.

This year I decided to take action. I've always been an active person, being outdoors and training at a gym regularly, however when life gets busy, my fitness is the first thing to go out the door.

Tyrone was able to immediately assess the way my body moved, and start a training program that was specifically attuned to address the IMBALANCES in my body. We looked at my ankle problem yes, but more than that, my program addressed my whole body. This is the TFS approach, whole body balance.

With in 3 weeks I began to feel results. Firstly, mobility and flexibility. And not through hours spent stretching, just from the proper warm up and specific exercises that built strength but also opened joints and lengthen muscles in the one heart pumping workout. Then strength and stamina by addressing weaknesses I didn't even realise were holding me back.

Importantly for me also, having committed to weekly training sessions and knowing that I had a trainer waiting for me at the facility, increased my accountability and kept me coming to sessions. No longer was training the first thing to go when life got busy, but rather, it was the thing I needed to take a moment of peace on focus on my body.

Thanks Tyrone and Lawson. The improvement in my fitness, strength, mobility and head space this year, as a result of training with you all, has been the single biggest change in my overall fitness ever.
