Vancut Hair Salon

Today I visited Vancut Hair salon for a haircut. I normally cut my hair in different salon but they couldn't take me due to my last minute request. Mandy accommodated me so I thought I'll give another place a try. She did an amazing job on my hair. My hair is mid long and I always ask for framing my hair around my face. I'm never completely happy but Mandy nailed it exactly as I wanted. I will be coming back to her. She is very thorough and checking her work. She cuts, blow dry and recut and recheck again. Thank You Mandy. 😊

I couldn’t be happier with my new blonde balayage!! My stylist Mandy did an amazing job— she has a wonderful eye for detail and is so kind. I’ve been receiving compliments on my hair all week! the photos speak for themselves(second photo is the before) :)

Customer service was ok, but poor skills. My hair was uneven and there are parts that are longer than the other. She cut more than what i wanted, and it was already too short that I didn't want more hair to be cut so I didn't want her to fix it. At least people there are nice, but I don't think i would come back.

Updates: So I went back few days ago, and Mandy the manager fixed my hair, I am really satisfied with the result! She is super sweet and offers excellent customer service, didn't ask for a refund because of the result she gave me, a complimentary fixed is more than enough! Really appreciate her kind offer and wanting to make customers feel happy, so glad I gave them a second chance!

The work is clean. While waiting for the hair done, Mandy offered me a freshly espresso coffee. The Salon observes the face mask and only one customer at a time. Price is average with quality service.

Mandy is a great hairdresser, she really cares about her clients. She always makes me feel very comfortable, treats me special and am happy with how my hair looks after she finishes doing my hair

I have been coming to Vancut Salon for many years now. Mandy is simply exceptional! She listens, she perfects, she is mindful and always takes extreme care of my hair.

Not only is Mandy a wonderful and talented stylist, she’s also caring and understanding.

Whenever I see her, my spirits are lifted immediately and when I leave the salon, I feel like a million bucks.

Unfortunately Mandy has had some bad luck with lacklustre stylists who are quite unprofessional and are easy to fault others for their bad work. The bad reviews are always made by trolls….

After many years this is my first review and I should have been doing this sooner.

Always remember, the people who post reviews online are usually unhappy souls looking for validation. The unfortunate era of power-hungry keyboard-warriors.. karma will end up coming along 💕

A previous employee used her phone to correspond with an unhappy client because the employee didn’t have the guts to call the client and face the music lol 😂 (millennials)

Mandy only wants please her clients and ensure everyone who comes to her salon has a wonderful experience.

I will be honoured to have her as my stylist as long as possible. She’s the hair stylist that seems to understand the artistry l, love and the business in my experience.

Having fine hair that hardly grows, she makes it come to life and everyone compliments me after I have a session with her. The hair is like brand new!!

Keep it up Mandy and thank you as always for your dedication and love for hair and client service.

I booked my appointment by text message with Mandy on Tuesday and got an answer shortly after for a Friday afternoon.
Mandy was professional and accommodating. Before the haircut, she took the time to understand what I was exactly looking for and made a couple of suggestions.
In the past, I used the services of other hairdressers and it always fell short. Mandy was way above my expectations, just enough banter to maintain the conversation but remained focus on her task. She was fast and accurate and gave me a couple of tips on how to arrange my hair properly and maintain their volume.
5 stars services, I highly recommend her!

Mandy is very professional and patient. I have been her customer for four years and every time I was completely satisfied with the result. She listens to her customers and exactly does whatever they want. It has happened that I put wrong color on my hair and made a mess, and she easily fixed it. Friendly, clean and great staff. If you need to be some where and it is necessary to look good and time is an issue, you can call her last minute and she will find a solution and will book you ASAP. Highly recommended.

I am really happy with the service I received here! She really worked with me to figure out exactly what shade I wanted to dye my hair, and the haircut looked great. The salon is clean and the staff are very friendly. I would be happy to return for my next hair appointment. :)

Mandy is the owner, and she will be able to recreate any hair style you like. Just come in with an idea, and if she thinks its possible, she will do it right.

Not only is the service great, the aesthetic of the store is very nice as well. Modern with their own personal touches makes the place very pleasing.

I had a lovely morning with my daughter at Vancut Salon today. Big thanks to Mandy. I have been coming to see Mandy for many years now. You could tell how passionate Mandy is about hair and her salon. Every corner is well thought at the salon. She is very gentle handling my hair which I love. She is considerate because there's even a little area where she left all the plushy animals for little kids to play. I get lots of compliments on my haircuts everytime. Thank you so much!

I have been committed to Vancut hair salon for some time because I can honestly say that they are AMAZING at what they do! Not only do they always keep the integrity of your hair in mind, but they also work hard to get you closest to the results you want! I have styled my hair for prom and a wedding here, done keratin treatments, and done highlights.
The staff are truly talented and they definitely know what they’re doing! I always book my appointments with Sama and Mandy. They are two of the most wonderful people I have met and they genuinely care about what they do. I have always got my desired results and never have I left the salon with any disappointment.
I always recommend this salon to everyone I know and I have family and friends who also go to this place and they are very happy with the service they receive!
I have just got a head of highlights which I ADORE, and since then I have got TONS of compliments.

This was my first time here and I have anxiety about going to other places. Overall, Mandy is an amazing hairstylist. She was very meticulous and only needed to look at my reference once. 30 minutes later and it was recreated perfectly! I highly recommend her and will come again.

Best place in Coquitlam for a haircut! Mandy and her staff are excellent, and she really understands Asian hair and head shapes. Had been looking for a long time for a good hair salon before finding this one. Always a great experience!

I had a great experience with Sama. She did my eyebrows and she did a perfect job. I am going back there to dye my hair again. She was super friendly and very professional. My husband also got a haircut there which looked great. Really recommend this salon.
