Wow.
Beautiful Irish pub !
I lived in Port Moody way too long before I found this place. It's a real hidden gem.
Of course I had a Guinness on tap and then a Jameson on the rocks, proper drinks for an Irish pub. It was busy. Very loud, and very busy. Definitely a very lively and popular place.
Service did not lack at all despite the full house.
Props to the top notch bartender killing behind the counter. Really enjoyed my drinks at this pub.

Let me tell you about this gem of a local restaurant! The food? Absolutely amazing. Hands down, I had the best burger ever in Vancouver there. And guess what? If it's your birthday, they'll hook you up with a free shot as a little celebration gesture.

But it's not just about the food; the vibe is just so darn lovely. And then there's Megan, our server extraordinaire. She took care of us like nobody's business. You can just tell she adores spending time with customers and making sure they leave with smiles on their faces. Her kindness and professionalism are off the charts. We were asking for this and that, and she was more than happy to help us out every step of the way.

And get this – despite being a local spot, they're rocking a solid 4.3 review. Can you believe it? That's on par with big names like Cactus Club or Earls. But honestly, with people like Megan on their team, it's no wonder they're killing it.

The fried pickles and potato skins were absolutely delicious, a true delight. The price for happy hour was incredibly reasonable, making it even more enjoyable. However, I found the beef in the sliders to be a bit smelly, which was a bit disappointing. Nonetheless, the overall experience was great and I would definitely recommend visiting for the tasty treats and excellent happy hour deals!

I had a guest from US and she wanted to try Canadian “Poutine”.
I always had wondered why people eat poutine, but poutine here in Irish pub, really better than my expectation.
And the other dish also so good, it is very normal and ordinary salad but way better than other restaurants have their name vales.

I brought my folks here for lunch a few days ago, and WOW was it better than expected. It's rarely a compliment to call something 'pub food,' but this wasn't your everyday fare – the turkey & brie sandwich was filled with proper oven-roasted turkey rather than deli-meat, and the strawberries were a nice change over the more traditional cranberry sauce. The fries were super crispy, too, and not greasy – just what you're hoping for when you indulge a not-so-healthy treat! We also got tater-tots, which I haven't had since I was a kid, and they too were SO good!

My folks shared the braised short ribs, and from the chorus of "Mmmmmmm!" noises and the fact both their plates were scraped clean, that rich brown gravy and the fall-apart-tender ribs were exactly as good as they looked. We'll be going back again soon, and I'm ordering those ribs!

I didn't realize the food was photo-worthy until we'd already eaten most of our meals, so while the images aren't instagram-worthy, they'll hint why we absolutely LOVED our meals. Oh, and the service was great, too.

We have been here a couple of times and had heard the nachos were really good. Sat barside and ordered the small nachos which easily fed the 2 of us. Our bartender Katie had mentioned the large was huge so we were grateful for that as the small was quite large as it were. This young lady ran the whole back of the bar by herself! She was not only super efficient however very kind and just seemed to like being there. Her sunny disposition just made the experience all that much better. Really enjoyed the food,and the service was perfect especially for a sunday! Thanks Katie! 😊

Our new local - great atmosphere, food, drinks and service. Brunch is delicious, the breakfast with beans is my favourite as a brit! And the flight of mimosas made my day :) the smash burger is very tasty, and the poutine too. stuffed yorkies of course a firm favourite. yummmmmm. highly recommend

Great pub and great food! I love coming there for the hockey games and their baked pies are really really good. Service is great and on point ;) keep up the great work and will come in again.

Great environment! Amazing, made in house from scratch, all the food! Good cider and beer selection. The cottage pie is delicious, but everything I have tried here is good! Service was quick! Comfortable spot! Local gem!

Amazing Happt Hour Specials. Excellent location, terrific patio, fantastic food. Their Thai green curry is the best kind of spice. Their in house made chips for their nachos is unbeatable. A must try location

Been eyeing this pub for a while, ordered delivery and I can only imagine how good the food must be fresh. I'll get food from here again, in person or delivery. Already have my eye on the brunch menu.

Got the Yorkies, a bowl of beef barley soup, braised short rib grilled cheese, and bread pudding. Didn't get a good picture of the grilled cheese and bread pudding before my husband started eating. Pub food is expensive but the quality here is great.

Heard a lot about their Yorkies, so I tried them. I'm glad the sauces were separate though. There was a lot of horse radish mayo sauce and a decent amount of gravy. It looked very unassuming but the way the flavours mixed was amazing. One bite and I understood why they're well reviewed.

Beef barley soup was tasty; wish there was a bit more but it is definitely a bowl size, not a cup. There was a good amount of beef chunks, nice barley/meat/vegetables ratio.

The short rib grilled cheese was really good. The meat was good, the outside of the bread was crispy, had a very nice crunch. As a side note, the horse radish mayo is good as a dipping sauce for fries.

The bread pudding is good bread pudding. Pretty good with the vanilla ice cream it came with. Tasty enough to standalone.

Great pub! Very nice atmosphere and friendly service. Excellent selection of local craft beers. Really good pub food, but the nachos are absolutely fantastic! They use their own homemade chips that are made from thinly sliced potatoes. When you go, you have to try the nachos! An easy 10 minute walk from Inlet Station in Port Moody. We try to go about once a week, when in Vancouver. Most definitely going again!

St.James Well never let's me down, if you come here the Yorkies are a must. I'd recommend the braised beef short rib sandwich as well but really there's no bad menu items, their all good

The St. James pub is a fantastic place to visit! The food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. They have a great variety of drinks, especially their excellent selection of Beers. It's a unique Canadian experience that you shouldn't miss out on!

The food here is always excellent as is the service. Had the beef dip and it was perfect. I have been coming here for 10 years and I will continue to keep going here
