Italian Super Market

The supermarket is OK, but the pizza and coffee are absolutely amazing! 💯 So consider this review for the restaurant. Amazing staff who delivers your food and coffee to your table. The wood oven definitely makes the pizza smell and taste next level great. Here is a trick for you... I always order my pizza vegetarian with extra mushrooms and then get sliced meet from the deli (whatever I feel like!) and ask the chef to add it on top of my pizza 😎

Amazing shop in Calgary - Here at least once a week. The pizza is incredible! Made fresh and very affordable. Great selection of quality products to shop too!

The staff are all very personable , kind and helpful - you can feel the wonderful sense of community here as soon as you walk in the door. Can't recommend this place enough!

I love this place. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left there were good vibes all around. The women working in the deli department were helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable - and they are one of the many reasons why I looking forward to returning. When I went to check-out, I told the cashier how wonderful the women were and little did I know that the cashier was one of the owners, Marco. He went on to tell me how amazing his staff is and it only made me appreciate this gem of a market even more. Thanks again for the delicious cappuccino, Marco - and for your amazing customer service. This is a great place for great Italian food (yummy gelato!) ... a family-run business with personable service and the pizzas - oh the pizzas! The cafe inside the store is a must-try - phone ahead for pick up seems to also be available. They carry a wide selection of pastas, chocolate, and have a fresh cheese and meat deli. A wide variety if fresh olives too. YUM!!!!

When talking about Italian food, the first thing that comes to mind is the freshness of that food. This is a place where you can get to know the freshness of food. Just try once. I tried the meatball with pasta, it took me straight to Italy. that was perfect .

We come here every time we pass through Calgary, whether we need to fully stock up or just need a coffee and pastry! The best pizza I’ve had in Canada with always fresh authentic ingredients. The deli team are amazing, always so kind and helpful. Who knew a “supermarket” could be such an enjoyable experience! Grazie mille!

A wonderful family market! Delicious pizza, variety of grocery items - and excellent and friendly service! Finally found a place that stocks our favorite gluten free pasta. Thank you!

Why am I only finding this place now?! I need no other Italian shop, this is now the only little local one that matters. Friendly service, lots of variety, amazing prices, passionate owner, and some great hidden treats you may need to inquire about to find… they whipped me up a meat pasta sauce in 5 minutes while I waited! It’s definitely an “ask and you shall receive”, can-do kind of vibe. Grab yourself a pre-made sub from the deli at the back, and take a latte to go. I’ll be back, Marco — again & again. :)

I checked out this place in search of take out dinner and was not disappointed. They have a hot food selection that is delicious and affordable. Fresh buns too! It is a good find and now my go to place for a quick Italian meal not to mention the great grocery selection.

The Digaeta Family is absolutely amazing!!!!. They make you feel like family when you are there. The staff are always so friendly and helpful! I've been coming there for 4.5 years and will continue to be a loyal customer forever! They have the best selection of food and their pizza and pre made food selection is unreal! I Highly recommend. No comparison in the city!

You can also eat in a good supermarket. The parking lot is a little smaller and you have to look around for a space during rush hour. But when you enter the supermarket, you can start enjoying authentic Italian food. Freshly baked pizza and other Italian foods, with a cup of fine foam coffee, can start to enjoy the food. The price is not expensive and the food tastes good, which is probably the reason why the parking lot is full.

Just another wonderful experience at this place. Great pizza and super friendly staff. What more do you really want?

If you’re looking for some of the kindest, most helpful people, look no further! My wife and I come here often, mostly for their world famous freshly baked bread. On top of that, their deli meats are always fresh and delicious, and sometimes, if you’re nice, they’ll give you a little sample!
This is also locally owned and operated, and you can tell by the quality of their products and the overall cleanliness of the store. We have always had an excellent experience here and will always support this store!

Absolutely amazing selection and even more amazing staff. Have been here many times and will continue to do so. Their lunch is unmatched and beyond delicious.
