Im very used to mechanics trying to take advantage of me (I'm sure most women can relate), which in turn has forced me to learn more about cars but I worry about not knowing enough and still getting screwed over. The manager (owner?), who I feel awful for not remembering his name, has not only made me comfortable but he's been upfront and honest with me every time. he hasn't tried to do stuff to my car without permission or lie to me about things needing to get done. All this to say, I'll probably keep coming back even when I don't live 5 minutes away. Highly recommend especially to young/new drivers.

Had my truck towed Dec 5-23 as scheduled for original fuel pump replacement for my 02 Tacoma @ plus 380,000Km , was ready by days end, he put in OEM parts, well worth it as advised by James, keep up the good honest work, Thanks.

Just bought an 88 mustang 5.0. Brought it in for a much needed tune up. It was running very rough. Diagnosed the issue’s and fix accordingly with some new parts etc.. Will come back again! Thanks James.

Had my brakes and rotors replaced and James and Kevin were highly knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy in their suggestions. They were very accommodating of my situation and James was even willing to stay later than opening hours to accommodate me which thankfully didn’t have to happen. That says a lot about customer service.

James and Kevin were very knowledgeable, of the best quality parts for my car and were very quick to resolve the issue too given my pressing situation.

Kevin also gave me some really good tips to help my car not burn oil as it’s an old car and couldn’t be thankful. Highly recommend this team here.

Found JKR on Google. I took my 2008 CRV to Jim this morning. Turns out my vehicle needed both front CV Axle shaft to be replaced and Sway Bar Mount as well. Jim was excellent, he advised on what needed to be done, the price quoted by Jim was reasonable and fair, and did the work the same day. Amazing customer service. I will definitely recommend JKR to anyone my CRV feels good to drive now. Thank you Jim and staff of JKR Automotive.

As someone who relies on an older vehicle for a daily driver, I need to trust that I'm in good hands. To everyone that visits it will be abundantly clear that James genuinely cares about his customers and sincerely enjoys his line of work. He walked me though what would be done, how urgent it is, and how much it would cost, all before starting any of it. As others have stated, I was out of there in record time for work that I would have expected to take all day.

Wow - I'm only writing this review because I was so impressed with JKR- I usually go to another shop in Coquitlam but JKR were open on Saturday and the reviews looked good and I took a chance. So happy I did - the service, positive attitude and professionalism James provided was the best experience I could hope for when dealing with car problems. Especially since I had no idea what the issue was. James was able to expedite the repair the same day ! Made a world of difference to me and my family. The car is working great now, an issue other mechanics couldn't fix. I now have a new shop to bring our cars to.

I am an original owner of a Subaru outback. have experienced a check engine light over 2 years.
