Breathtaking views 💯 You’re surrounded by so much nature. Hardly any skyscrapers in your view! Great view of the marsh too.

I went in mid July and we had to look out for bears, mosquitos, and a lot of mini frogs on the trail up.

Depending on which trail you take to go up, it’s either super easy or extremely steep.

My class went here for a hike. It was honestly great! Not too high, so it was quite an easy hike. It was about 2 kilometres only, which is good for beginner hikers wanting to get into the hobby. Once we got up to the high knoll, there was this large cliff with a great view of Coquitlam, and in the distance there was Surrey, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and you could even see SFU on Burnaby Mountain. Great place, definitely go here.

Fairly easy hike. About 1-1.5 hrs to the view point and back. The trail is well marked and mapped. Parking available. It was a bit rainy and cloudy on a day when we were there. But still enjoyed the hike and definitely enjoyed the view. It gets quite muddy on a rainy day so consider proper shoes.

Great hike, perfect for kids and adults alike. There are some steep sections to keep in mind.
A lot of rock surfaces which can make for slippery footing if it’s recently rained, so dress for the weather.

The views are worth the climb. Good challenge for trail running. Hikes are doable for small children. Love having this trail in my back yard. Its a must if you are in the tri-cities. Happy Trails!!

I hiked this one with some friends recently and it's one of my favourite local hikes yet! It doesn't take too long to get to the upper lookout and the hike is relatively mild. It feels very safe the whole time and the view is super rewarding!

Beautiful park with stunning trails! Definitely recommend doing the high knoll trail. However I really advise going in a group as there are lots of bears living here. 🐻🏞

Love this place. Not a very hard trail, but there's some steps you need to take on. Love the view at the top lookout. Definitely worth to check it out!

A little bit of work to get up to the top. Some parts are hard to see the trail but what a nice surprise when you get there.

Great hike. Not busy and lots to take in. Genuinely feel like your further away from the city than you are. View from the knoll is awesome.

Great hike for views of the Coquitlam area. The parking gets kind of full by late morning on a weekend.

This is a nice hike with a fabulous view of the Lower Fraser Valley, that's worth it.
It's not too steep but it will give you a workout if you have 20 to 40 Lbs on your back.
Enjoy a cool refreshment at the Top because you deserve it!
On the way back down, you might see a MamaBear with her Cub(s). Don't be alarmed. Just use caution. Don't get between her and her Cubs. MamaBear's prefer to be around people as people present less of a danger to them and their Cubs as opposed to Male Bears.

Enjoy!
