Kittawa RV Resort

We had a great time in kittawa Rv Resort.
Very pleasant and quiet place. The office staff always helpful and the cottage was very nice and comfortable.

Fun camp ground. They have a heated pool and hot tubs for adults. The lake has an inflatable park for the family to enjoy. There's a sports rec area that was very nice.

I love this place, it’s my 3rd summer coming. I like that they have a pool and fire pits and also a bunch of other stuff. The people there are really nice. Today I went to the christmas in july and they gave me and my brother a free gift, i got a toy for the pool and my brother got a cute little bubble gun. I love going to the cabin! The restrooms are VERY clean. They also have a basketball court there, and they have basketballs,footballs and hockey sticks.I would recommend this place to everyone.

Had a blast with my son this past weekend. We will definitely be coming back again. He had so much fun and loved the inflatable on the water. I loved the cabin we stayed in very roomy.

I went camping here with a friend and our kids. The campsite was good and spaceous. The property itself is huge and offers tons of things to do. Definitely worth while checking out.

This is a lovely campground that has earned the right to call itself a ‘resort’. Currently some amenities are not available or are a little changed in their approach due to COVID restrictions but that’s something we encounter everywhere.
Some of the things we particularly enjoy are the Swimming Pool (lots of lounge chairs around the poolside) kayak &paddleboat rental, the bouncy water play area on the lake, fresh produce stall on saturdays, campfires, sports activities for the kids, sundaes at the Kittawa store/restaurant and just walking the huge campground and lakeside chatting to friendly campers. I don’t know what to make if some of the other negative reviews as that hadn’t been my experience at all: Christy the manager has been extremely responsive, friendly and helpful, the water is fine (we used a Brita filter because it’s well water so doesn’t give that ‘city water ‘ taste we are used to) We had no problems with septic, parking, cleanliness or anything andrealourselvesenjoourselves….

I'm the oldest granddaughter of madame Turgeon . She had her camp site since the 1980's. I was just curious if it's the original owners??

We camp here often with our family and friends. It's nice just to sit back and relax and watch our kids enjoy the many activities. The new manager Cynthia is super friendly, outgoing and very customer oriented.

Extremely underrated campground. All new staff this year really turning the service and comfort around.

Highly recommend camping here, it is my family’s second season with them and they have taken good care of us!

Over all this campground was a 10 out 10. We've stayed in a lot of KOA' over the years and most of them don't even come close. Really clean well maintained sites. Friendly staff. And the seasonal site owners are amazing. I would recommend for any non uptight campers to check this place out. I will go back again.

Friendly staff and so coorperative with our needs, many activities during the whole summer and winter family days also. It’s a man made lake and year the end of summer cannot be used but there is a terrific pool and two huge hotubs for use all sunmmer. They just built a great outdoor activity centre, volleyball, etc etc very kid friendly

We have been coming to Kittawa since 2003 and now have a seasonal site. We have had the experience of both the previous owners and now the new owners. Although the previous owners were set in their ways and sometimes hard to deal with, all in all the were nice people. The new owners (Joel & Joanne ) are wonderful people and have put their heart and soul into bringing the Campground back to life. A day doesn't go by without seeing up-grades being done. The infrastructure was in dire need of up-dating and they have spent countless dollars and time doing just that.

Both of us are serving members of the Military and have travelled from BC to NFLD and camped the entire way and we must say that Kittawa is one of the nicest campground we have stayed at.

Being a seasonal camper we have the advantage of seeing many weekend campers come and go and we are always so impressed on the positive comments and feed backs we hear from them.

Yes, there is the odd unhappy camper but every Campground has rules and regulations and if you follow them your stay at Kittawa will be without a doubt a wonderful stay.

This is a wonderful campground. The new owners took over a few years ago and have turned this campground around. They have invested their heart, souls, money and labour into this place. Everytime I turn around there is another update. Constant improvements. The owners and staff are very approachable and kind. They are firm when they need to be, which is wonderful because it ensures a wonderful camping experience for all. You cannot make everyone happy all the time, but they endeavor through reasonable rules to make the best experience for everyone.

Amenities include pool, beach, hot tubs, children's park, dog park, restaurant, etc. Close proximity to Calypso Water Park, and a short drive to the Capital!

This campground has a wonderful spirit and community about it. The social club works very hard to provide activities and events that separate this campground from the rest. Park dinners, bbq's, beach parties, theme days, adult and children's wagon rides, outdoor movies, fireworks - It just doesn't get any better!

Everything from beginning to end is outstanding. Even when you arrive on a busy weekend - all hands are on deck to make your registration a smooth transition and they even guide you to your site and make sure everything is good.

Little things like garbage pickup twice a day at your site makes the experience just that much better. They have bathrooms and showers to which are kept clean. You need to get a key from the office for a deposit, but I find this reduces the number of random people using the facilities, which helps to keep them clean and well managed.

This campground is great for old and young and overall has a great respect for everyone's neighbour. Quiet time comes and a hush comes over the campground allowing those with small children to end their day without complaint.

So come by for a visit and stay awhile - you won't be disappointed!

We went my wife and I to chez Stan's which is the restaurant at the camping.The chef is vegan and they have vegan options including tofu. My wife had the Asian salad it was good and very good portion. I had the the vegetable stir fry with Tofu..it was also good the portion somewhat on the small side ..it is a family business and the service is great and very friendly..they have a 3 vegan options for bk including a scramble tofu.. really bold to have such a menu at a camping..! We will be back often...

The park was much larger than anticipated. Full services available. I did not like being unable to leave the park at night without a way back in. The pool and hot tubs (plural) were great. The washrooms could use some updating.

Very well run. Friendly. Had a great late supper at the restaurant. Everything was exceptionally clean. Just off the 417. We felt home right away. A tip to RVers take the first entrance to stage properly. They have gates in & out we felt safe & secure.

Very nice camping ground. the site i picked online when booking was a bit tight for my rig when we arrived but they moved us to an available larger site no problem. The staff and owners were friendly and very welcoming, the food at the takeout was great. the pool was heated, clean, kids loved it. The lac area was nice, roads where maintained. perfect location to go to Calypso as its literately less than a mile away, mini put between the camping and calypso so great spot for the kids. we even went shopping all the way down to Tanger outlets in kanata and came back as its a short drive to ottawa.

Great little campground and a great spot if you're going to Calypso. More of an urban style campsite. (camping with amenities) Please note that since 2017 they have new owners and they are much more pleasant to deal with! Alot of work is being put into the campground and I look forward to the future for this business!

Really nice and clean place to camp

Beautiful camp ground in the heart of Limoges. Boasting some serious amenities to keep the summer thrills going! From man made lakes out back to swimming located in front and plenty of other amazing things, you will be sure to have a great time camping at kittawa. Also located mins away from fabulous Calypso Water Park to soak up some sun with friends and family.
