I drive past this place daily on my way to and from work, had my truck breakdown and my girlfriend picked me up. On the way back she suggested we eat here , I had never given it any thought. We were pleasantly surprised on the price , serving sizes and taste. Very very good and we will be back again !

Attended a wedding ceremony and dinner, Nice decor, great service and one of the yummiest food from appetizers to desert 😋

Onion bhaji, chat and samosas for appetizers with tasty chutneys
Dinner had vast selection of vegetarian food such as Paneer tikka masala, Shahi Paneer, mushroom and green peas , Chana Masala , Mix vegetables and Daal Makhni with variety naan breads and rice.

For deserts we had Gulab Jaman, Ras Malai and Tea

It's good restaurant with party hall.
Staff is so co-perative they helped in all way.
Food is good. They prepared food what we chosen from the menu, with starter , main course food, desserts gulab jamun,
Soft drinks.

We had baby shower, Indian , from karnataka Bangalore. It's good and every one liked it.
I suggest for all, to have a good party and get together ,

The food was so good! We just happened to be passing through during dinnertime and saw this place. We took a chance, and we were so glad we did! The curries and sauces were all wonderful and full of good sized pieces of meat and fresh veg and paneer. The naan was great and the chicken biryani was spectacular.

Food was delicious! We ordered the Beef Roll and the Bombay Chaat to start, then moved on to Lamb Masala, Aloo Gobhi (potatoes with cauliflower), and chicken biryani. The flavors and level of spice was amazing. You MUST order their naan bread - it arrived to our table crispy but light, probably the best naan bread I have eaten! We will definitely be coming back...

Palkis is definitely the best Indian take outs I have tried in this city.

Excellent food; service is great, very good prices, big portions and on terms of quality this is some of the best onion bhaji and naan you will find in Ottawa.

It' is more of a take out and banquet\events spot than dine in but the food is excellent and that's fortunate as it's also the only place selling something other than pizza or fries for 40km in any direction.

I can't wait to try the tandoori!

The food was delicious and the service was great! They did a great job accommodating for my partner who has celiac disease and ensured there was no cross contamination in the kitchen and when the food was brought out. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine.

Great new restaurant in Carlsbad Springs! We got take out and had a variety of dishes. All dishes are excellent and the portions are pretty big. The staff is super friendly and the dining area looks great for when indoor dining is an option again. Check them out!

Very excited to see something else in the area. Me and my father went for the first time.
We ordered the beef rolls samosas as appetizers. Both very good! For the main meal I had the chicken lababdar and I dont remember what my father had.
With Naan bread on the side. The bread was warm and lightly painted with oil and garlic.
Everything was excellent, really good plate sizes. Decently priced. Service was good, waiter was very grateful for having us there, but had a hard time finding the entrance (we had to use the left door).

Overall very happy with our meal everything was delicious! Will come again 😃🤤❤

I really enjoy getting a take away meal from here. Great variety, delicious food, always nice service. Sometimes takes a bit long.

The food was amazing the service was amazing whoever took my order over the phone even tried to steer me away from the more spicy food and what a great choice it was the whole family enjoyed it especially the samosas and the chicken tandoori! Will definitely return always remember to get Naan with your order it's always worth it.

Finally tried this place out for the first time tonight, and wow! We were super impressed. The food was absolutely delicious. Probably the best Indian food I've ever had. Will definitely be ordering from there again!!!

Great food, and good value for money. A bit far out, but the drive is enjoyable too. Very friendly staff.

Palki's is awesome! We went here about a month ago, and the food was delicious. Excellent servings too. Service was nice, and food was delicious! Also, we spend about a fair amount of money there.

Food was great and the staff was extremely polite and thankful!
Rice and Naan were great, samosa delicious and our main dishes : chicken chettinad, and beef vindaloo were amazing, both dishes were spicy but very flavourful.
Definitely would recommend and definitely will be going back! Happy to have this restaurant nearby

Tried Palki last night. Hopefully these reviews are read by owners. I’d like to add my observations to the other reviews. I’d love for them to succeed. To jump to the conclusion: We loved every dish. Generous portions, reasonably priced, excellent flavour. Lots left over for today.
1. Make it VERY clear what door to use to enter. Too confusing right now with two entrances.
2. Consider adding a “spice” level code to each dish. We ordered the spinach dish and it had too much of a “kick” for one of us.
3. There was a lot of oil on the surface of one of the dishes. Another reviewer mentioned this. Cut back! Your dishes tasted excellent and likely don’t need all that oil!!
4. Pack your naan in something else besides a paper bag. We are forced to take out now and it doesn’t stay warm or moist on the drive home. Was hard and chewy by the time we ate it. In fairness, if we ate in, it would likely have been soft and moist.
5. It’s funny that another reviewer mentioned a perfume smell inside. I only recalled that after reading it. It’s still there, but wasn’t offensive. However, why?? Let your food be the only smell. Not sure what it is but probably should get rid of it.

Overall, they earned my 5 stars and we will be back!
