Best service I had from Lumber yard employees in a long time.

I went to Bytown lumber this morning ( Saturday July 27, 2024) to purchase some lumber. I just want to say that i was impressed by the quality customer service I received this morning from the staff; especially the two lumber yard employees that were working outside. Sorry, I did not ask for their names. They were very courteous, professional, efficient and organized. they packed up the lumber like a puzzle inside my van. I was also impressed on how much they cared to not damage / scratch my vehicle while loading the lumber.

It's hard to say enough good things about this place. Their prices and quality both beat the national chains. They also genuinely want to help you, delivery is painless simple and affordable. It's not everywhere that someone jumps up from behind the counter to help you find the screws that you inevitably will need more of than you think.

Greatest place for all my lumber and fasteners. Unbetable price quality products. Personnel there are very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help you in your projects.

Excellent customer service. I had an idea of what I wanted to do and their staff was able to help with the details I had missed and correct issues I had with my plan.

This "extra mile" also saved me about $300 that I didn't need to spend and solved a potential structural issue.

Great service by Rej Brabant. Called Bytown for information on deck stain. He recommended a product. I did some research on the web and was impressed with the recommendation he had provided. Called back and spoke with Rej, he told me he would put 5 gallons aside for me. When I arrived all was ready... The paperwork was all done and my 5 gallons were in a basket at the front and everything was ready to go. Thanks so much Rej for the great advice and service. Well done
