As always the staff at Colonial Veterinary Hospital are amazing. They are passionate about animal care. They are personable and do everything they can to make visits to see the vet a positive one for their patients. Their service is bar none! Poppy and Olive 🐾🐾

I’ve been taking my dog to this vet office for years now. All the Vets are top notch as are the Vet Assistants…super nice on the phone and really care about my dog. Very empathetic and good about getting my dog in to be seen asap…mostly same day when an issue arises. I can count on them to provide consistent excellent veterinary care. Highly recommend.

As a first-time dog owner, I am so thankful I found Colonial Vet when I did. From allergies to spaying, they have always been willing to accommodate, help, and guide. I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff, from the receptionists, to the vet techs, to the veterinarians, are all incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and truly want what's best for your fur babies. They happily consult over the phone when an appointment is not required and usually have some same-day appointments available for the more urgent matters. The veterinarians go through all the options, never rush, and treat our Mabel like their very own at our appointments. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing we have the best veterinary team helping us. Thank you Colonial Vet for all your hard work!

My chocolate lab Birdie was in distress after getting a stick stuck in her mouth. I called Colonial Veterinary Hospital because I was unable to remove the stick myself and I didn’t know what to do. They asked if I could bring her in right away. Dr.Brown and a vet tech saw Birdie immediately and were able to remove the stick without issue. I will forever be grateful for their quick action, plus they didn’t charge me a thing!

We've been going there for over 25 years now.
We love the staff and most of the vets. We like the sun much, we travel past other vets to go to this one.
Doctor Brown is our favourite, and we've gotten to know him over this quarter century.

As always had a great experience at Colonial! The vets, techs, and all staff are wonderful - friendly, professional, caring and aways competent. My dog and I have been with Colonial for years and he has had amazing care, but this was little Willow’s first experience and it was great. Dr. Grimshaw took excellent care of her.

This is where we go with our two fur babies and have always received excellent care and advice from Dr.Brown and the other vets. The front staff and techs are always providing excellent services as well. We really appreciate the email follow ups after visits needed for injuries (big and small). Highly recommend this veterinary hospital; you can't get any better than this team!

Colonial has taken care of all my pets for over 15 years, I feel like part of the family and appreciate the care that is given to all of us.

The staff and vets here really seem to care about the fluffy patients and the families of those patients. Our kitten has been going there for all his appointments and each time in impressed with how much attention and care is given. The vets take their time to chat with you and determine if you have any concerns or questions while the lovely admin staff makes it a point to pronounce the unique pet names properly and have ample knowledge on common animal issues. If you are a new pet owner or looking to switch, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The staff at Colonial treat your pet like their own. They don't pressure you into anything you aren't comfortable with, and always lay out the available options, good and bad!

We have been going to Colonialvet for 35 years now with our pets over the years and they are by far the best vet I have ever been to. They care very much about the animals they take care of and they’re not like a lot of the other vets that are just pushing product and unnecessary surgeries. We are moving out of town, but I will make the drive back to keep taking my dog l there. All the vets are great as well as the vet technicians and staff Special shout out to Dr. Brown, Donna, Lori, Sarah and Melanie. These are the staff that I normally deal with, but I can say everyone working there is great. Highly recommend, if you’re looking for no nonsense Vets and staff who are excellent at their jobs

We entered the office space and were taken to a room with our dog very quickly. Staff came almost immediately to check our dog for a possible problem that I had mentioned on the phone to the receptionist. Blood work was taken. Dr Brown then entered the room and examined our dog. He drew blood to test for heartworm and lyme disease. He then told us that our dog was quite normal with no observed problems of any kind. We chatted about the dog and the slight problem that we had noticed and that the staff had already drawn bloodwork regarding the slight problem. After a discussion regarding anal glands, we were soon on our way. Along with Dr Brown, we decided to purchase all of the tick and flea preventive medication that will be required this year. In a very few minutes. the medication and instructions were ready for taking home. The bill paid, we were ready to leave.
Dr Brown and everyone on staff at the clinic have such good attitudes and are very approachable with any questions. They also provide very good care to our dog. Our dog recognizes them and responds very positively whever any of the staff members approach her. She actually appears to like going to the vet. In that respect, she is very different form other dogs whom I had to drag into the vet office almost from the first visit. For the owners, the staff make appointments very pleasant. If medical care was this available and this friendly and effficient, people would rave about it and would solve medial problems very quickly and efficiently. Now that we are back home, I know that worries or health care difficulties are less likely than might otherwise be expected. ! Our veterinarian is great even though he only treats animals. Pity... hahaha....

We have brought our dogs here for six years. We’ve experienced everything from puppy care, emergency appointments, and end of life care for our dog here. Everyone at Colonial Vet has always treated us and our dogs so well - from reception to technicians and our vet, everyone treats you with kindness and empathy. The entire staff is gentle and patient with our pups.

Dr. Grimshaw, our veterinarian, always gives reasonable and balanced advice. I never feel rushed or pushed into making decisions. He thoroughly responds to every question and concern; he is never dismissive.

The end of life care our dog received stands out to me as an example of the outstanding care our animals have received throughout the years. Dr. Grimshaw and the staff at Colonial guided us through this challenging time and helped us say goodbye with dignity. I will never forget the quality of care we received at that time.

Great care of our 2 older cats. Understand the love we have for them, but also understand everyone has a budget.

They've been our vet for 3 years now and they are honestly worth the drive out! Wonderful staff and amazing Doctor! Very patient and loves our cats just as much as we do. Wouldn't think of bringing our little ones anywhere else !
