I had the vanilla raspberry cheesecake and a croissant. Both are fabulous. The cheesecake is light with so many flavors , the croissant is buttery and flaky. They also have a huge selection of other goods in store. Great bakery!

Amazing French style dessert/ pastry store. Love every dessert, not too sweet, great look.
The cafe latte is also delicious 🤤 although the price is a bit higher than average pastries, it’s worth going.

First stop after arriving in Montreal. We had a coffee with a croissant, choux choux pastry and a parisienne ham and cheese baguette. Everything was spot on. Highly recommend. We will be back. Bonus - try the unique flavored chips from France. The curry flavour was great.

The design and taste of the desserts are fantastic. It would be nice if there were more seats in the store.

I am a conneseur for croissants. Long story. Chez Poitier has the finest. The atmosphere is perfect air conditioner delight. I dropped by yesterday for chocolate croissants with a friend. We took them to go and were very surprised by the quality, oozing smooth quality butter and the perfect dark chocolate. Today is a highly recommended post you will trust.

Stumbled upon this place by accident. The pastry here are made to perfection. The crossant was so beautiful and the Canele was just exquisite- one of the best in town made to perfection. Definitely worth it!

Great pastries and viennoiseries! Excellent quality and so delicious. I've eaten a crazy amount of fancy eclairs in France and the US over the years and this was the best coffee eclair I've had. They have a very well curated selection of cheeses and meats as well if you are looking to make a picnic. You must get the house made pate en croute if you like terrines and pates. It is truly fantastic. I ate the whole slice in one sitting by myself!

Basically the best almond crossiant in town.
Crispy on the outside, perfect almond cream to croissant ratio, balanced sweetness.
Baguette, pastries, crossiant… can’t go wrong. They have a cute small baguette so good.
Better call or come really early, they sell out of the good stuff really earlier.

I’ve been looking for nice French pastry in Montreal(overall Canada), and finally I found it! Deserts not only look beautiful but also taste amazing. I tried passion fruit cheesecake, lemon tart, and chocolate mousse cake and I loved them all! Very elegant place, and the staff looks like they know their business well.
I tried lots of pastry in Canada but this place is real. Prices are not expensive for this quality. (There’s lots of pricy pastry in Canada but some of them are not worth it)
I definitely come back.

The best pastries in Montreal. Have been here countless times I attempt to try all their new products when they have some. Haven't been disappointed once yet.

Discovered it today and I'm happy to say, not only they look good, they taste absolutely beautiful too. Everything was so light, fragrant and well balanced. My favorite is the Paris Brest, but they were all so good.
Some may find it a bit pricey, but it's because of the quality of the ingredients they use. Like Madagascar vanilla or aged Rhum in their baba.
I will definitely come back for more.

The store offers gourmet products. Their bakery offers gourmet croissants and more varieties of croissants.

Amazing place, don't be scared by it's pretentious design, the pastry there is amazing and made with a care to the balanced taste. The cakes are sweet but not excessively sugary, the almond chocolattibes are made with some strawberry that adding the subtle fruity shades to the taste of the chocolate. And if you're looking for nice coffee, this place is may be one of the best places in Montreal because their blends are oriented at the caramel-chocolate tastes rather than fruits ones that are the most frequent here.

I found that compared to other bakeries in Montreal such as Les Copains D'Abord it's expensive and far too much sugar, the presentation and texture of their products are fantastic. But it seems that a lot of what you're paying for is pretty presentation and how the interior looks.

Edit: Dec 2023 can say after the recipe adjustments without a doubt the best in Montreal
