What an unexpectedly charming place! Friends had gone here and loved it but I never had a need to stop by until today. Enjoyed a tasty hot chocolate and then ordered a Monty Cristo with a broccoli and cheddar soup. The soup was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed the panini!

Local, comfy and cozy community cafe. Super friendly staff, always smiling and interacting with the customer to ensure they are enjoying their meal. Soup and panini were tasty and delish. Lots of yummy treats to take with you as well as soups and coffee to brew at home.

Such a warm and inviting community space, with lovely staff, so many food & drink options, and the best cinnamon buns we’ve ever had. Plus, they have delicious takeaway soups and bread baked in big cans!

Wow was very impressed with restaurant! The food was amazing and affordable, the service was great, very cozy, the staff is phenomenal, very friendly, polite, caring and they always have a friendly smile. It just reminds me of a fantastic place to have a kitchen party. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone and I would most definitely would go out of my way to visit again.

Wonderful place for breakfast and lunch. Homemade food makes it even better. Recently they have a new espresso machine which is awesome. Staff is always welcoming and friendly.y favorite spot to visit. Don’t forget to grab some home-made treats.

We absolutely love this cafe in Elmsdale! The sandwiches are excellent and you can order a variety of different kinds. We got a veggie/vegan option, a gluten free option, and a few regular sandwiches for a team event and everybody LOVED them! They are so kind and welcoming! They truly know how to make your day a bit brighter :) A definite recommend from us!

Cup of Soul is definitely on the must-go cafe list in the province, and in this area. The service is great (especially if Kate serves you!), and the variety of food and drink options are both plentiful and delicious. Possibly the best french onion soup I've ever had! The cafe itself is quite small and tight, especially when it's busy, but it's cozy. Also if you get the chance, try their cinnamon buns and lamingtons!

Glad we went there befor our trip to burnt coat head park. We feuled up and then headed out. The triple pancakes with blueberries was a bomb ;-) it definitely was more than filling. This two boys got the pancakes with chocolate they loved every bit of it. Panninins were great too. The owner was SUPER friendly and everything is made right on the spot. Would love to go back there again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, inside and out.
Food was delicious, people were splendid.
Ate outside and the kids loved finding little caterpillars that seem to love a gorgeous old tree.

First visit today and it definitely won't be our last!! Our lunch was absolutely delicious and the limitless coffee was a treat. We can't wait to return. Highly recommended.

We headed out of Halifax for Cape Breton super early and wanted to stop for some food. This was the perfect spot. They were open nice and early, the food was absolutely fantastic, and the people were wonderful! The location is convenient and the restaurant itself is asp cute and charming! I would highly recommend. We wanted a quick stop for a bite and enjoyed it so much that we stayed and chatted over a few cups of coffee. They even poured our last cups into to-go cups and wished us a wonderful day. Just overall wonderful.

Found Cup of Soul Cafe by good fortune, pulled off the road looking for coffee better than a chain store -- and WOW am I pleased. Stayed for lunch, seafood chowder studded with shrimp and fish and a side salad with extra deliciousness, so fresh and special. Cute, comfy space. And the coffee - perfect. Don't miss this local gem.

I had a beautiful meal of tomato basil soup and a half sandwich on gluten free bread. The soup was absolutely wonderful. It was thick and fresh and very satisfying. The sandwich, made on gluten-free bread baked in house apparently, had a lovely texture and flavor but it didn't quite hold up to finger sandwich quality. However it's suited the soup very nicely and I managed it with a fork of knife and was very satisfied with the whole thing.

Great place to have lunch! They have delicious vegan options and the service is great, very friendly! Would definitely recommend! Highly recommend their soups and paninis!

Was here and it happened to be their 13th Anniversary! Atmosphere was outstanding! Felt like I was in a little Irish Pub, live music and all! Wee bit crowded but added to the appeal!♡ Food smelled amazing! Staff was super sweet . Magical little spot!

This place is amazing. When headed on our long journey home, we wanted a quick bite. The food was amazing, the service was next level and I wanted to personally thank the staff for going above and beyond when they found out it was my birthday. Had a delicious egg sandwich on a biscuit with homemade sliced potatoes with onions. I believe the ketchup was also homemade. Very good. Great coffee! Cute little coffee shop with approximately 6-8 tables but have some comfy chairs also. Loafs of fresh bread and frozen soups for sale. They also have some sweets too! Didn't try any of these though. When I'm in the area I will definitely stop by. ;)
