Lots to see!! Parking is extra. CAA discount, teachers discount!! Place is super clean. Some bench seating spread out for patrons to sit.
Take the map from the ticket sale table, it shows the location of planes/helicopter and names them.
If you look and walk then it's about a 20min visit. But if you take a lot of pictures and read about the history, you could be there for 2hrs.

One of the best place to see the history of aviation industry and Engineering! It has all models of flights and planes that has been used in WW2. It also has different types of engines used in aircraft sorted according to the manufacturing company.

It has also space museum kind of place where you can see the space suits, their daily work inside the space ship etc.

And the best part is they have kids friendly area, where kids can take over a wooden toy flight and drive. Kids are so happy in spending time in this area, while you can roam around and see the different types of planes.

They also have a food court which is a small one but enough to satisfy your hunger, and a theatre to display things about aircraft and space.

You can visit this place for free if you are Canoo member. You need more than 2 hrs to visit the entire place.

Very nice. Amazing aircraft. Did a helicopter ride 10 or so years ago of the city (10-15 mins) . Lots of history and lots to learn about aviation, Canada's role in different aspects of the industry, space etc. Can do a quick visit or spend some time (2+ hours). Good for kids. Thanks.

This museum is so incredible. There are different kinds of planes and aircraft. You can also experience a biplane ride here. It feels so good to see such a huge aviation and space museum with plenty of knowledge. Very spacious. This place is very much enjoyed by the children. Loved it.

It was an amazing feeling to be in this museum dedicated to aviation and space. We explored it with great admiration. There are English and French tours available lasting between 45 minutes to 1 hour. We joined one and I highly recommend it. The guides narrate in an enjoyable and memorable way. I learned a lot of things I didn't know before. We spent a total of 3 hours inside, and it was one of the most enjoyable times of my life.

Loved it!!
For me, the highlight of the museum is the space section. Also experienced flying biplane above Parliament Hill. Was lucky to get the spot as it was almost booked. It was so much fun!!

The Canadian Aviation and Space Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in aviation history or space exploration. With over 130 aircraft and artifacts on display, there's something for everyone. Highlights include the Avro Arrow and the Canadarm, but there's plenty more to explore. The museum is well-laid-out and informative, with interactive exhibits that are great for kids. Allow at least 2-3 hours to see everything.

Amazing collection of aircraft. If you're into aviation this is the place in Canada to see the most important aircraft in our history. If you're not into aviation you'll enjoy the amazing machines in this museum. This place takes several hours to see. Highly recommended.

Being an avid aviation fan I was totally geeking out in here. I assumed we would be about 2 hours but 5 hours later I hesitantly left .. I probably took 1000 pictures so choosing some for the review is tough. We also took the plane tour of parliament hill and had a great time. My partner who is not into aviation like me also really enjoyed herself. Would highly recommend to anyone to visit but plan for more time then you originally thought as the place is amazing

Very cool place! Saw so many amazing planes and learned so much about space and Canada's history. There are actual planes to sit in and a cool kid's interactive play centre, and wooden toy planes for kids to roll around in. Highly recommend!

The collection of aircraft is impressive, spanning the entire history of aviation, from the earliest flight machines to modern jets. The exhibits are meticulously curated, offering fascinating insights into the technological advancements and historical significance of each piece.

Whether you’re an aviation enthusiast, a history buff, or just looking for an engaging day out, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

You can see planes of different times here, strongly recommended for aviation and history enthusiast. There is also an exhibition about space for those who are interested. You can also pay an extra fare for a short plane ride over Ottawa.

One shortcoming of the place is that it is not very accessible by transit especially during weekend. You have to walk quite a long distance until reaching the closest bus stop.

Great museum to see different airplanes with kids. Mostly air force planes, but still it it was nice to see close by. Wish they had more activities in the museum and souvenirs at the store.
