Shubenacadie River Adventure Tours

So much fun! It was a great time with the shubin crew on the rising tides! Thank you Sarah for being a great captain! She did a great job keeping us safe but also making or adventure an absolute blast. Mud sliding was super fun as well! Hot dog lunch with drinks and chips were a nice touch.

Our family spent the afternoon with Garrett, what an awesome time he gave us. He knows the river and his boat, made sure we had a blast and that we were safe. What a wild ride, on a perfect day. Great overall experience! Ran the second half of the Shubenacadie River with David and Cal as guides. Met a lovely couple from Moncton on our raft. Greatly enjoyed this white water rafting adventure on the Bay of Fundy tidal bore! Fastest rising tides in the world. Slid the mud banks. Swam the center channel. Had a quick shower before enjoying the meal included in the overall price.

So glad we booked this adventure — a highlight of our trip! It was a high tide day and our guide, Mitchell, made sure we all had a blast (and got soaked). The barbecue waiting for us when we returned from riding the ride was an great touch too!

Very awesome staff !! owners and everyone else are very friendly and accommodating.. great trip Sarah was our driver she is awesome... Would definitely recommend it to everyone!! had a big feast of hot dogs chips and pops once we got back can't wait to go again!! I went with my 10-year-old son and he had the time of his life.!! Highly highly recommended... Definitely an experience that everyone should have..

We did "The Ultimate" tour and it was a blast! Hours of large overhead tidal waves engulfing the zodiac. There is a nice break in the middle where you can play in the mud and go for a swim. Emily was our guide and she was amazing! She shared lots of information with us and was a great driver. Food is provided afterwards, as well as all the gear you'll need.

Owners and staff were awesome. The ziplining equipment and facilities are in great shape. It was all around great time. I would highly recommend this place

What an amazing experience! Laurie was wonderful to deal with for booking, and very willing to answer any questions we had. Our raft guides were Dave and Sarah, and they were awesome. We wanted a wild ride and they delivered. My kids were in heaven! Thank you for a fantastic and memorable day.

A great value for your time and money. Our whole family really enjoyed their trip on the river. Finally something my 13-year-old son and 16 year-old daughter agree on: this trip was the most memorable of the vacation. Our guide educated us about river tidal bores, the wildlife all the while keeping us laughing and having a great time. Thanks for a great trip!

Me and two boys loved the trip with Clay. It was one of the most memorable activities we had in our 8 days trip in N.S. The experience is fantastic and very safe. We went up and down in the bore, and floated in the river. The mud felt like melted chocolate, smooth and warm and pure. I enjoyed the mud slide very much. The shower and hotdogs at the end is a wonderful final touch to the tour.

What a day! Our group had the trip of a lifetime with Sarah who delivered - she ensured no body part remained dry and navigated the river like a pro! From ages 8 to 68 we laughed, went mud sliding, swam and all left with smiles from ear to ear. She showed us eagles, loon nests and answered our questions patiently. Definitely the highlight of our vacation :)

We had a fantastic day with the folks from Shubenacadie River adventure tours. We went for the full 3-hour tour and we were not disappointed. Sarah, our pilot was wonderful and made us feel very comfortable. We plan to go back for the extreme tour next season. Thanks

Fantastic group very professional to deal with and knowledgeable ,Clay did a great job on the water in the boat all felt safe , tides where wicket , mudslides where awesome and the swimming and floating in the river deadly ....Laurie thanks you for finding my glasses ,and we will be back again highly recommend the trip to everyone . Amazing experience!!! We booked the low turbulence, as we did not know what to expect. We still had a lot of crazy waves! It was so much fun!!! We’ll definitely go back to try the moderate one! Ask for Mitch! He’s awesome!

Great way to feel like a kid again!!! Our experience with Adventure River Tours was definitely the highlight of our trip to Nova Scotia . We especially enjoyed the MUD SLIDING part of the day. This outfitter was very friendly and our guide, Jake, was entertaining and added to the experience. We cannot recommend this experience enough to all ages and risk-tolerance levels. Guaranteed that everyone will enjoy themselves.

I've been wanting to do this for 20 years, and I'm so glad I finally got to go. What a blast! The staff is fun and helpful while taking good care of you and keeping you safe. They can tailor the trip to the risk appetite of the participants. Hold on to your hat! This is a thrill ride for sure.

Amazing tour! This is my 3rd time and it was the best ever!!! Dave was out guide and he really knew what he was doing and very friendly and funny! Laurie was amazing at communicating everything and very helpful.
