We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom cabin - it was WONDERFUL! The cabin exceeded my expectations. It was comfortable and clean. We were in cabin 4, 2 owls were in the woods right next to our cabin. It was pretty amazing to see.
We rafted on our second day and it was amazing. Our kids are still talking about it.
The staff at the resort exceeded our expectations. My daughter forgot her ring in the room and the staff at the resort called me and then sent it to our home. It was service that went above & beyond. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time. We had selected the 2.5 hours tidal bore rafting and it was such a fantastic experience. The rafting and the mudsliding. Definitely worth doing well with them.

We wanted to give a huge shoutout to the resort for being so amazing and accommodating while we had work done at our house this week! They worked with us through last-minute contractor changes and were nothing but hospitable and welcoming to us and our animals (big bonus - they are dog friendly!!). Our cabin was lovely and we enjoyed walking the trails and listening to the birds and other wildlife during our visit. Highly, highly recommend this place. Hopefully next time we will get to enjoy some tidal bore rafting 😊

Very cute cabin with knotty pine interior. Small but functional kitchenette with gas grill on the porch. This was a great peaceful place to stay after Tidal bore rafting that day. No breakfast (it's a cabin), but they provided coffee supplies. They have an above ground pool and the lodge offers ping-pong and billiards.

I didn't stay here, but drove in from Halifax for their 4 hour Tidal Bore Rafting excursion. It was amazing!! Everyone has to wear a PFD and they offer you a raincoat as well ( I'd recommend this option, you're still going to get wet, but it cuts the wind as you fly around in the zodiacs). The tour starts with a nice leisurely ride up river for about 30-40 min. The day I went, the water was glass, a huge contrast to what it would become as the tides came in. Our guide, Jacob, pointed out half a dozen bald eagles and gave us some tidbits about the river we were going down. We landed on a huge sandbar just before the river hit the Bay of Fundy and had time to explore the sandbar while we waited for the tide to start coming in. Then the real fun started! It was incredible to see this sandbar, larger than a football field get swallowed up by water and the glass water turn into 6 ft + waves. We rode through 6 different rapids sections and looped back through each section 3-5 times. It was so much fun to go straight into the waves, crashing over us and then surf them back out again, feeling like we were flying in the water, I couldn't stop laughing and smiling the entire time. After, we were given to option to go mud sliding. Take this option! The mud is warm and so smooth and it was so fun acting like kids again, playing in the mud and sliding down into the water. They have warm showers and a place to change once you return to the resort. All the staff were incredibly friendly and obviously enjoy what they do. I'd recommend wearing dark coloured clothes/bathing suit, even if you don't go mud sliding, the tides really stir up the silt in the water that you are getting soaked with. I wore shoes that are meant for mud runs and they were perfect! Allowed the water to drain out but stayed tight on my feet. Don't bother taking your cellphone. When you're going through the waves, you are holding on with all you got, and getting hit with a ton of water, you don't want to be worrying about your phone. I brought my waterproof camera on a neck strap and it was great for getting some pics on the way out, but there was no way I was letting go to take pics as we went through the waves. If you are looking for a unique experience relatively close to Halifax (it took less than an hour to drive out), this is it! Tidal Bore Rafting was definitely a highlight of my trip to the east coast!

Not sure about the resort but the rafting is amazing I went as a teen and loved it. Great customer service. We recently had a trip planned for our teens to go rafting and we ended up with a family emergency. This company was amazing during cancelation and even refunded us fully. Will be back when things even out again!!!

Outstanding experience and second time visiting - great value for our group on our stay at their largest cabin, an absolutely stunning piece of architecture. The pictures don't do it justice, this unit is MASSIVE. We enjoyed the spacious common areas, outdoor campfire, and privacy. Steve the owner was really helpful, and went the extra effort to help us source wood, gave directions to get groceries, and have the best time ever with our group. Read some earlier reviews about him, and couldn't be more than wrong in my opinion (we all have our stressful days, so give him a break people! Respect and courtesy were reciprocated in spades). His dog is so friendly, as well, and we loved how she followed us around happily as we explored the resort. The staff were very friendly and we would come back without hesitation. Off-season is great as the pace is quieter. If rafting is your #1 priority, then refer to the tidal schedule posting on their website. Unfortunately, our visit didn't line up with high tides but those who believe that is the fault of the resort should consider reviewing the moon instead.

The stay was really nice, we had a 2 bedroom chalet that was clean and comfortable. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The tidal boreing was amazing! Nick was great (if you’re wondering, no one has fallen out of his boat this year! Go Nick!). The only improvement I could suggest would be to get Nick a bar on the rafts. Lori needed it!

Thank you for an incredible stay and experience.

We did not stay at the resort, however we did do the rafting experience. Initially I was a bit put off as we had brought our own lifejackets for comfort and were unable to use them. We were fitted in their lifejackets, not as comfortable, but they worked just fine. Once in the boat, our guide Erin was amazing. She taught us about the river, the animals, how it has changed over the years... her knowledge was just immense and she had a great sense of humour. Once the main event started, we were hooked!!! This was an awesome adventure that my kids are still talking about weeks later. We have told everyone coming East to detour here for the best experience ever! We could have stayed at the mud slides all day, my kids just loved trying to climb the hills and sliding in. They were so happy when they made it to the top without fail. When we got back we were quite dirty, but we were aware of this and made sure to bring clothing that we did not care if it was dirty. They have a gender specific shower area where you can wash and change after the activities. Thankfully we brought bug spray, as the property itself has many mosquitoes while you wait. They provided post activity hot dogs and drinks, which again my children loved! Should we go East again, this will definitely be on our agenda!

The rafting was a highlight of our Canada trip. We laughed so much! A great adrenaline rush while feeling very safe with our knowledge guide. The lobster boil was great fun too. The cabin was comfortable although the beds weren't a bit narrow and the mattresses a bit hard.
I highly recommend this experience.

Great little cabins, very simple, clean and have everything you need. The tidal bore rafting however was incredible, Dewy was a champ and even tho conditions weren’t perfect he made sure we caught some big waves! No pictures to add bc I didn’t have my phone but we had a great time.

My review is going to be a bit of an outlier because I didn't actually go rafting, but my best friend booked this resort for her wedding, which happened to fall on the date of hurricane Fiona. It was supposed to be an outdoor wedding, and we had to change it indoor last minute. The staff, especially Nick, Amber, and Steve, made sure to accomodate us in any way, shape, or form we could need so we could squeeze everyone in the main building. We lost power the night before the wedding, and they quickly had the generators going to we could have heat and running water in the cabins. We were allowed to use the restaurant to do our hair and makeup because it had to the most natural light, and they ran the generator in so we could have an outlet to do our hair. We were up at 7am and Nick and Steve had singlehandedly almost finished cutting down and removing the fallen trees on the long driveway so guests could arrive. We did the entire ceremony and reception with only a power bar to give us a spotlight, music, and a microphone. You couldn't even tell that we didn't truly have power. While I didn't go rafting during this trip, the customer service we recieved was worth 6 stars if I could give it. They were absolutely above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time. Not only was the wedding an incredible success, it is a fantastic story to tell, and it wouldn't have been possible without the help of the staff. Thank you thank you thank you!

This was a day trip for us while we stayed in Halifax (approx 50 min drive away). What an experience! Our three children (12, 10, 8) will never forget riding the tides. Our guide Amber was beyond wonderful and really made sure all the kids were comfortable before hitting the bigger waves. I would definitely recommend this adventure to anyone visiting the area.

We rented the chalet with the hottub for two nights, and booked the 2 hour rafting adventure.

Check in was easy and fast, and the customer service was great! We bought firewood which was delivered to our chalet within a few minutes of checking in.

The chalet was lovely, and we loved the hottub. The lawn was well groomed and the chalet clean. I like that there are kitchens so you can cook.

The rafting tour was amazing. I believe our guide was named amber and she was AWESOME. She was personable and fun and made sure everyone had a blast while still being safe.

The property is lovely and I took advantage of the hiking trails on site several times during the stay.

The only thing that could have made this mote enjoyable is a better bed the chalet. It was noisy and not particularly comfortable. Not horrible or anything, just could probably do with an upgrade.

I will definitely return, the staff was great and it was fun and relaxing!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the tidal bore rafting resort for our March break and we had a wonderful time! The lot is absolutely beautiful with an abundance of greenery and woodland, with a cozy and cute cabin. The propane fireplace gives off very nice heat and the heat pump warms up the whole living room and kitchen. The whole inside of the cabin is made of wood which makes it that much cozier! We had very nice customer service with a man, which i believe was the owner, and a woman working at the receptionist desk. They were very friendly and welcoming and made it clear that if we needed anything, to just ask and they would provide it. There’s lots of woods and roads to walk on and while the place is pet friendly, you’ll meet lots of cute puppers around the area :) overall exactly what my boyfriend and I needed to get away, and will definitely recommend and visit again soon!

Just finished a wonderful weekend getaway with friends. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that had all the necessities and was very cozy and comfortable! The trails are great for going on little hikes and can’t forget to mention Jammin’ who is such a joy to show everyone the ropes! Jody at Reception is very friendly and shows you exactly where to go for your stay! The views and sounds of being right on the water when the tides come in is quite the experience! 10/10 recommend staying at this resort!

Amber and Nick were incredible. Thank you for amazing stories, recommendations and experience for lifetime. Especially Amber for keeping us entertained for 4 hours. We were not bore at any point of time. To be honest, I had doubts that it will be a fun activity or not however it turned out to be a must do thing in Halifax. Also, Shower were arranged perfectly managed and overall loving atmosphere. Definitely would visit again & do tidal rafting with you guys!

We wanted a unique place to celebrate our very active & able Mother's 80th Birthday. We emailed to ask a few questions and received rapid response. Even left a voice message on a snowy storm day and received a call back promptly. We booked a cottage, which was enjoyed by the family. We found the customer service was great. We look forward to enjoying a cottage again in the summer.
