Birley Gates Camping

4 of us were on a bike packing trip mid May. Sharon was a fantastic host and really friendly and easy to deal with. The campsite, even though it was very early in the season was in great condition. You can tell that they work hard to keep it in good condition.
Washrooms were very clean and comfortable.
Location was first class, right on the river, this would be a perfect spot for a few days kayaking or plating in the water with kids.
This was the best campsite we had during our week long trip.

A wonderful campsite with great amenities and it isn't too crowded. We were lucky to have a river view spot and the sunsets are beautiful. We would definitely go back again. Amenities include washrooms, showers, firepits, picnic tables, a park for kids, lawn games etc.

We stayed here for a weekend and it was lovely, we were able to upgrade from tent camping to a pop up trailer which was such a wonderful option they have that you are able to rent the trailers there.
The waterfront view is gorgeous and the campground is very clean as were the bathrooms,
As it is a small campground it was still very nice, quiet and it was a wonderful stay
Sharon was wonderfully super nice and friendly and checking in to make sure everything was good for us, That was a very nice and something we haven't had at other campgrounds we have been to

Had a great fun with friends and sharon is fantastic host. We enjoyed alot in tent camping main thing is quite place clean park and bathrooms.

Amazing camping experience, a hidden gem! My dad grew up down the road from here and wanted to bring us all so we could experience the area together. We had two campsites right on the Grand River. Everyone including my 16 month old daughter had the best time! Very family-friendly. We can't wait to come back next year!

We moved to Brantford in July. While looking for a place to live we stayed at Birley Gates for a week. Fantastic camp ground. Sharon was a wonderful hostess and gave us a perfect site with shade as requested when I called. Washrooms are clean and the outside shower is refreshing. Being able to lounge on the river front was so relaxing. We planned to go and have another stay in September but work did not allow. We will go back next year!!

amazing camping ground. everything you need is close by in town and all the amenities are at the park, there's a shower washrooms water and hydro and the campsites are super close to the river which was a amazing swim. bring water shoes there rocks.
fire wood is bought on site and sharon brings it right to your site 10 dollars a crate.

the park is very family friendly and kids are always allowed to be kids the other campers were also very polite. and helpful. once 10pm hits is quite and peaceful.

sharon is the amazing owner she is very passionate about her park and she is so sweet and kind and very friendly she makes you feel very welcome.

me my wife and son had a amazing week camping here we will be returning over and over sharon deserves 100 star review.

Had a great time with the whole family. Sites are open but our neighbours were polite. Bathrooms were clean and there was a small play ground for the kids to enjoy.
