This place is awesome! I had trouble finding semi-clear information online, so now that I've been here this is what I can tell you:
There are actually 4 parking areas. The first lot that you come across is the Provincial park side, followed by 3 Regional lots. You can park in any of the 4 lots and easily be able to access the water. The first 2 lots (Provincial and Regional #1) are really more of a pebbly beach/river type of access. The second 2 lots (Regional #2 & #3) are better for accessing the really cool looking potholes that you are seeing in all of the photos. You will need to climb down a steep pathway to get to the rock formations, but it's fairly easy to get down. The parking does fill up, but people come and go as well. $2.25 for the full day (to dusk). We parked at Regional lot #3 near the campground (no washroom at this lot FYI) & the potholes were SO cool. We were able to swim up between the cliffs & many people were cliff diving. Cold water, but very refreshing. The pictures will never do it justice. Enjoy!

We arrived at 10am and had lots of parking spots to choose from. The new trail signs are very nice and colourful and certainly help people to find their way around. Though it does look like some of the names that the locals have been used to using for quite a few years are evolving to different names. Perhaps the CRD should check with the local community who use the parks to make sure that they're using the correct names on the trails. it could be a hindrance to search and rescue if the locals call for assistance and use a name that they've known the trail to be called for the last twenty or thirty years, and it's not a name that the CRD has now assigned to it.

Really cool park with many scenic swimming holes, not too far off the main road, a short hike down to the water. Definitely worth a trip!

Loved the Sooke Potholes! Paradise. Visited in May and it wasn't quite warm enough to swim unfortunately, but was still fun to walk around the rock formations and enjoy the paths and scenery.

Stunning views overlooking the natural pools in the ravine below. The drive up is almost a beautiful as the park itself.

Walk or bike up to leech town is fun. The old machinery is still there rusting away and its neat to see. The river is really nice to swim in in summer months, feels too cold to stay in for long periods, which is nice. When the water recedes enough there are little sandbars that open up and it feels like you have a private island when you sit in your lawn chair and look downstream. The hike to Peden lake is also great, good fishing up there.

The ruins are gated off so you can't get in but a sign there will give you ample information and tell you about the story of the resort and how it came to be unfinished. Over to the right of the ruins there's a walkway with an amazing view of the potholes below. Off to the side I believe there's a trail that leads down to the water. You should always be able to find parking and you don't have to pay for it.

Absolutely beautiful place to visit, we went in the winter while it was raining, the amount of gushing water made it spectacular, we look forward to going back in the summer for a swim! And to take advantage of one of the many picnic areas.

Beautiful scenery. Can access by car or bike. The bike path, galloping goose, it's an easy ride from Sooke. Beautifully forested and quiet. Washrooms, picnic tables and camp sites all available.

A great place to visit. Wear enclosed toe shoes with good grip soles. This place is awesome but you need to really watch your step. Wash rooms are clean

This is a MAJESTIC place!!! Come to swim and hike and enjoy. Always heed the warning’s and exercise caution as you enjoy the potholes.
REMEMBER to take only pictures and leave only footprints. Your duty is to make it cleaner than you find it.

A hidden gem. Took a lovely short waterfall hike in the middle of winter when no one was around. Very peaceful. I can imagine it's a hot spot by mid-summer.
