These guys are top notch! I had gotten about 4 quotes before I finally met Jeff and Mike who came to me as a referral. Their price was fair but more than anything they just came across as good, honest people. They showed up when they said would, did the work properly, cleaned up at the end of the day and took the time to entertain my questions when I popped in to check on their progress. We had some surprise rot on our upper deck which acts as a roof to our living room below which is never fun, but they really shined here and took care of us. We couldn’t be happier with their work and are so glad we chose to work with them, especially as first-time homeowners.

Jeff and his team did a great job on our roof repair. Jeff was able to visit shortly after our call to assess what needed to be done and he and his team were able to fix our roof issue quickly and completely. They were even able to correct another issue at the same visit which was great.

Jeff’s follow up was appreciated and he was able to do an on-site visit to look at a secondary issue quite quickly which was also really appreciated.

We would highly recommend Jeff and his team to anyone looking for roof repair work.

Really nice folks, I asked them for a quote based on an inspection report that I had. They showed up on time, kindly looked through the report and told me that the issue is with insulation and not roofing and I need to contact someone else.

I contacted MountianWest for a roof leak issue that we had. They were able to come in on time, check the issue and recommend of what needs to be done inorder to fix it. They also did patch work on the roof as a temporary solution, before they could come for fixing it. I am completely satisfied with the work done by them as I am writing this review after I waited for a season of hard rains and snow to confirm how well they did the roof work.
Totally, will recommend them.

It was a pleasure working with Mountain West Roofing. We first discovered a leak in our roof and they were quick to respond to ensure the damage wouldn’t get worse by patching and tarpping the roof. The job took six days to complete. Each day they made sure to clean up and ensure there were no nails lefts around the property. After meeting with a number of different roofing contractors, Jeff & Mike impressed me the most. They’re both courteous & professional. Out of all the other roofing companies, Jeff was the very first one who responded to my inquiries & provided a free, fair, reasonable & very detailed quote. Jeff is very helpful, considerate & even offered to do a short presentation for our strata where he brought product samples & explained what they are for, answered questions from the homeowners & provided more information about the whole project.

Mike, on the other hand, is very skillful & knowledgeable (Red Seal Certified). He definitely knows his roofs & he takes them very seriously. He doesn’t take shortcuts & he informs me ASAP whenever he & his crew come across a problem (eg. wood rot) & find ways to deal with it right away. Mike seems to have a solution to everything!

Aside from being certified, fully insured & registered with WorkSafe BC, Mountain West Roofing went above & beyond to accommodate us in every possible way. Excellent communication from start to finish. Friendly & hardworking crew. Showed up on time every day. Ready to tackle any problems thrown their way. They know what teamwork is all about and it shows on their workmanship.

Jeff and Mike built a new deck on our 24 year old home in Maple Ridge. The job turned out to be more extensive than we all thought as the previous repair was not done correctly. They built us a beautiful new deck in a very timely manor. They were very professional and extremely good at keeping the workplace tidy. I contacted Jeff about roof maintenance and repair of our 4 buildings in a small strata. Within days of contact they were out doing an inspection and provided us with a quote. We always get 3 quotes for services and they were similar to the other 2 we received, however, I felt that Jeff was much more honest about the type of services/products they would provide. The other companies wanted us to pay for moss solutions that were little more than vinegar and water. Jeff took the time to explain why he didn't believe these to be a good product for us.
We contacted them during a particularly busy time for roofers and so we did have to wait awhile before they were able to do our job and Jeff kept me informed of the timing. When they did arrive they got the job done quickly and efficiently even though they found a few issues that needed to be addressed. We did ask them to come back to address a couple things that we wanted addressed and that was also done without question and within a few days. Overall, we were very pleased with the service they provided.

Mountain West did a great job on our office building's new roof. They had done some repair work for us in the past and were aware of our budget. They gave us a very reasonable quote, got the work done in a prompt and timely manner and did a good job of clean up. Would definitely recommend this company.

Jeff, Mike and their team did an amazing job on my roof. I hired Mountain West Roofing for a new roof but got so much more. My roof, gutters and soffit / fascia were in terrible condition and needed to be replaced asap. Jeff and Mike went over everything that needed to be done on the roof, they got me a quote on the same day and followed up with me several times when I had questions.
They showed up exactly when they said they would, they went above and beyond with additional tasks that came up, they walked us through the site once they were completed to make sure we were happy and if we had any questions. Fabulous company. They were here within an hour of my call last fall about a leaking roof, and the temporary patch held throughout the winter. When the reroofing started last month, the crew were on time and worked tirelessly for 3 days to get the job done The cost was at the low end of the price estimate. Cleanup was meticulous. And I just received the warranty information in the mail today. I would highly recommend this company to anyone faced with putting a new roof on their house.
